I bought Mr. Hillman's "Slippin' Away" album in LP form when it first came out and played it to bits. I swear you could hold it up to the light and see how worn through it was. Brilliant ensemble of players, great songs, and a lot of spirit. A great listen, highly recommended! Thank you for sharing, Mr. Sklar!

Take Me In Your Lifeboat is another old traditional bluegrass song that was written by a man named Frank Southern. Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs recorded the song and so did the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on the third Will The Circle Be Unbroken album.

Chris is in a Channel presentation playing six string with another musician - "SO YOU WANNA BE A ROCK & ROLL STAR" .... just literally a minute ago ..... seems Karma is favoring my favorites in music today - You Too, Lee - Just so many hours of you and these I speak of. Nothing like being in the right place at the right time. I loved that album, but no longer own it. The music and memories are some of my fondest from my youth. Please...I know this is about Chris yet.... "Joey" {RIP} Didn't have much time to encounter his presence but at Criteria I witnessed him searching for exactly the right percussion sound. They were putting rice in all kinds of everything...'lo & behold a certain amount of cannabis seeds in an old beat up aluminum film can and he was like a child. Eyes glistening and...even his name is melodic. I've another enchanting tale about Mr. Lala for later. Thank you, its all so nostalgic...all you folks and your gifted talents. Prayers..."do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is written in every language. NAMASTE~♡~

Lee, let me know if we can talk about the giving project I talked about yesterday. We need people to step up to get their clubhouse membership. I am glad to help make this a thing where we can support our friends here.
