I agree! I always sit through these thinking "too much gabbing" but then other people say "thanks for all the info" so I guess we all like different things. I have about five palettes and a few smaller quads... and I STILL can't use them all.

I've moved to indie eyeshadows and more colourful makeup. I've decluttered over 20 colourpop palettes and depotted making mauves,going coconuts and that's so taupe into a 9 pan palette and given the rest away. My collection is more curated and it's a breath of fresh air

I found over the years of watching all my make up KZfaqrs, I over bought eyeshadow palettes. It started giving me stress as I had so many that it was impossible to even use them one per month. I decided to give them all the way and just keep three palettes that I absolutely love and it’s been awesome! Love these declutter videos, thanks for sharing🥰

I don't even own one bigger pallette. As gorgeous as they all are, I feel like the massively huge ones would just overwhelm me and i wouldn't know where to begin. I like the more simple, smaller ones.

The I Need a Nude Palette was intimidating for me at first, and I had set it aside, but then I started just using one shade at a time, either matte or shimmer, and it has been great and a daily use for me.

Your willpower to declutter totally astonishes me! I laid out all my pallets the other day and ended up putting them all right back where I had them! I just could not part with any of them! It’s not even that I use them all. The packaging is appealing, the colors speak to me, someone recommended it on a KZfaq channel, etc. Perhaps when school ends and I am not teaching, I can actually sit down with some of the girls and my family and declutter with them around me. I have no doubt that they would love to take some of them off my hands!😂 I have wanted to get that Colourpop 11:11 pallet the past few times I have been in Ulta, but have restrained myself. It killed me to see it in your discard pile!😢 Keep up the good work, girlfriend! You’re an inspiration to so many!❤

I was late to beauty KZfaq and didn’t learn about that palette until after it couldn’t be purchased. I hope Tati eventually brings it back to life because I would so love to get my hands on one. It’s such a well designed palette and I didn’t hear any bad reviews of the formula or anything negative about it.

Tartlette juicy is not 5 or 6 years old. It has been released in jan 2021. I think some of these palettes are not as old as you think.

I agree with you regarding the release date but the tarte eyeshadow formula goes bad quickly I used to have the tartlette in bloom and it went bad within a year unfortunately

I think these are the best because you hear what the creator thinks of products. Yes they do makeup looks and rave about the look then the truth comes out during these because if you go back to when a video what made about the product they want you to believe it's great. Once so many people get on board or the sponsorship is over then we see that in reality the creator is just a creator, they have done their job. 😊

I finally threw out my Tati Beauty palette this year. I had hit pan on all the browns, one of the orange, and 3 of the whites but I never could use the glitter as ti would fall in my eyes, even with glitter glue. I literally shouted, "nooooooo!" when I saw you declutter the ABH! That's on my dream list to purchase.

Have you ever tried rearranging your Natasha denona shadows? I put my favorites (ie, the lightest colors 😅) from both the Glam and the I need a Nude palette and consolidated them into one of the palettes, with the less used ones in the other. Now I rarely crack into any other eyeshadow day to day.

I so adore you, Jess. You do have a 'look' though that you stick with every day so you could easily keep the Soft Glam and the Nyx Warm Neutrals and the Pillow Talk be all set for life or just the Pillow Talk even. lol You mostly just pick the same colors regardless of which palette they come from. Take the palettes you keep and swatch the similar shades from each and you'll see they're essentially the same shade just in a different palette, esp once on the eyes. Doing that could really help you narrow down to just a couple palettes and you'd be set if you test them to see which lasts the best then declutter the ones that don't. NO SHADE here, I do the same thing, so I would like to challenge us both (and everyone reading) to once per week use different, non-similar colors to your regulars and try some different techniques too. I'm gonna do that too. We need to mix it up, girlfriend. Time for Hot Girl Summer so let's have more fun with our makeup! Bronze, reddish browns, copper, maroons, burgundies are the best colors to wear with hazel-brown colored eyes. Maybe start there. Let's have some fun! Also, get the BH Cosmetics Take Me Back To Brazil palette (my friend gave it to me when she noticed I was in a color rut and I love the greens and the copper), so you have a full rainbow of colors on hand. 4th of July is coming up so do a full eye look that is Red, White, and Blue. Challenge accepted?? There's more than 1 look that looks great on us, so let's find a couple more!

So I am watching this a few days after you posted it. And I recently just decluttered some of mine and I got rid of the I need a nude palette. And while I was watching this video I thought for sure that was going to be in your top ones and I almost regretted getting rid of it. Now I’m glad I did! Same! I have 2 palettes I use but only a few shades in each. Mario's first Nudes matte palette and Danessa Myrick's first Groundworks palette. I'm a one and done eye shadow gal! Always have been. Palettes are beautiful but a waste of money for me.

I need to do the same thing! I quit buying palettes because always only use two or three colors in them. I love my Maybelline single shadows and I do have the Maybelline Nudes and Golds palettes, I use many colors out of them. Thanks for the inspiration Jess! I have the GXVE palette that you kept, I absolutely love it! The colors are actually different on the eyes, every time I am wearing it, I’m amazed how beautiful it is on my eyes during the day. The perfect “no-makeup makeup” palette. It looks very natural.

The only one that surprised me was the Natasha palette just because it reminds me of you whenever I use it - totally seems like your colors. I will def have to check out the leggings as aligns are my fav!

Loved this! I no longer buy big pallets. I have 2 left and use them all the time. I have the NYX Nudes palette and a Mac Unfiltered Nude pallet that is amazing. Most of my shadows are single and creams.

I love your declutters!! I have decluttered a lot because I want to actually use what I have and it feels so good! I got the ND I Need A Nude, but I have found that large palettes overwhelm me and I feel like it all looks the same. I prefer the ND mini My Dream palette 5 pan. I use every color and feel like I get the same look I did from the larger I Need a Nude palette.

I have gotten to the point that I only have small eyeshadow palettes now. I have never worn complicated looks, so I only use a few shadows at a time...and they are always around the same color! I do love the Lorac Pro matte palette, where the shades are all very light!

I’m getting to the point to declutter too. I have a lot of palettes that I collected as a collectors item but I find myself only using one. But I don’t want to declutter anything!! 😅

I just live for these videos from you!! Maybelline discontinued the Nudes of New York palette and I was heartbroken when I found out. It’s a staple in my collection and I use it almost everyday… guess I’ll have to find a different drugstore palette to use when I hit pan on it 🙃
