As someone who is in recovery for an eating disorder, it sounds like you're doing all the right things. Not labeling foods as good/bad, and eating nourishing foods or exercising as a way to FEEL good, taking appearance out of it have been MAJOR parts of my healing. You're doing good things!!

As someone who doesn’t use any social media (except KZfaq just to watch), I think it’s totally fine if you choose not to share your personal stuff if you don’t want. I take tons of photos and I print them out and make memory journals but they aren’t shared to the world. I actually feel like the fact that they’re so private makes them even more special. I share with family and friends, but not to any sort of social account. ❤

I saw an IG post recently that said your whole life you don’t give a shit about birds, then one day you find yourself watching and feeding and talking about the Eurasian reed warbler in your backyard, and that is how you know you are finally an adult😆

I've started to frame imposter syndrome as the 'I'm learning stage'. I get it when starting a new job but as you learn more and get into a flow, you start to lose that 'imposter syndrome' and get the confidence that you can do it.

When my 5 year daughter asks why I work out, I always tell her is to become strong to protect her! So she calls me superwoman 😂 I’ve ran 2 marathons, and her face seeing me do that is something I can’t compare. She is so proud of her momma 🥹 When it comes to working out, you have to find what you like! If you see it as a chore, it becomes hard. The physical aspect comes after you enjoy the process. Also, I have my little pouch and stretch marks and my daughter asks why it’s there. I tell her it’s a birth mark she left me so we will always be connected and I don’t feel alone when she’s in school 😅

I am old enough to be your mother. I find you and your personality so refreshing. From what I can see you are doing a great job with baby girls. I have two grown daughters. Enjoy every minute before the eye rolling teenage years.

My little one was kind of a picky eater untill she heard at scool one day that every 3 months you get new taste buds. After that she would try new things. She would always say i have new taste buds so maybe ill like it now. 😂

Jessica, I applaud your efforts to instill self love into your daughters! You and Tyler are setting such a great example to them by exercising and trying to eat healthier. Telling them that doing so makes you both feel better should help you teach them at this young age that taking care of yourself is important. I’ve loved your and your husband’s channels for a long time! You both have such upbeat content that I really enjoy. Your daughters are fortunate to have you both as their parents.

honestly i don't share much on social media, i feel like for my day to day life, the people who i want to know what's going on, do! i think it's healthy to keep a lot in your life private. we are not meant to know what's going on in people's life all the time

I can totally relate to feeling uncomfortable putting fragrance on your skin because remember that you can become allergic to something at anytime & then your likely allergic to it from that point forward forever.

I'm a stay at home mom and I never post on any thing. Years ago, I decided I'm a better mom, adult, spouse, etc OFF social media. I found myself posting about them instead of being present and I just thought, I'm done. It was for family, connecting, all the good things, but it is a vacuum that sucks your time and soul and I just opted out. If my kids ever get on, I will get on to supervise their activites, but right now my oldest is only 11 and there's no need. Not judging anyone else, just agreeing with your point at the beginning about posting being time-consuming.

Thank you for the discussion around productivity with young kids. I’m a military spouse SAHM with zero help, not even a babysitter for a date night, with a 2, 4, and 8 year old. My 4 year old is autistic requiring more support from me. I have had to put very strong boundaries up with myself and social media because it can be SO discouraging.

Talk to your kids about their body and about how people are different. Talk to them about how some people cannot talk or walk. That no one is the same. That’s ok, that is why we all special.

Girl... you speak to my heart when talking about posting your daily life on social media. I don't put my children on social media and never have (my oldest is 10 & youngest is 6). But I also don't share where I'm going or what I'm doing, ever...I think half our generation is all in on sharing everything and then the other half (or less) of us are like, nah call my house phone when you want an update 😂

OMG - I love the Merlin app. Oh yes on the body positivity. I have raised a daughter to 22 and my greatest accomplishment is that she has no idea how much she weighs. She will be graduating witha MT degree, so she has always danced and she enjoys working out.

I agree. After I watched his video and then read through others comments having similar experiences…I’ve decided to never purchase from them. They have a lot of work to do as a company if they want faithful customers. But as far as I’ve seen, all they do is get a bunch of influencers to make these sets and help sell them. It’s just reminds me of MLMs honestly. Also for anybody that might be interested…Wayne Goss is a professional makeup artist and KZfaqr. You can see his video about merit from a couple months ago. It’s called Companies I will never buy from again! Merit Beauty!

I feel so defeated most days because I want to do a lot of things yet nothing gets done because I'm the sole care provider for the kids. But, time will come that they will grow a little more independent and they will have more time at school. I know I'll miss the chaos but right now I am drowning. Loving these chit-chat GRWM vids. Also, your nail color is such a pretty Spring vibe!. I'm in a different season of my life than you, yet I still find you to be very relatable and authentic. So enjoyable!. Social media isn't 'real life'. When I was working and in school, I had help, too. No shame in that. As families and communities, we all need to get beyond this 'hang-up' that those who are fortunate enough to have help, are somehow 'less than' as parents. We are all better for all of our relationships. I gained 100 pounds when I was pregnant with my daughter. I shed all of that. It took work and persistence.

Hello there! I listened to this video for the second time and I wanted to let you know that you have really inspired me through a comment that you made about the merit makeup being so easy to apply that you could possibly do it without a mirror. Well, I have never tried merit before so I ordered it. The inspiration from your comment was because I am legally blind, I love makeup, and I have been practicing and trying techniques and tips from other people to try to learn how to apply my makeup as a blind girl. I am struggling along with guidance and prayer so that hopefully one day soon I can wear makeup out in public again and feel confident about it. By saying that merit could possibly be applied without a mirror was the perfect comment/idea for someone like me! That was music to my ears, lol. Oh Jess, I LOVE the Laneige sleeping mask! I use after my tretinoin and the Tacha Dewy Skin and my skin has been softer and more even toned. The scent goes away for me, but I love the smell so thank you for sharing it.

I love your chats! 💕👏😊 I was the one who asked about the difference between podcasts and KZfaq! I used to do KZfaq vlogs but editing felt like it took forever! There is no way I can do it now with 3 kids and no formal work schedule haha! Later, I became a part time content creator/Instagram manager for a company which was still hard, but short content is easier for me so I loved it. I was just curious to know what podcasting is like for you since you have experienced all the social media platforms! From what you said, I think getting all the right equipment is most of the battle/difficulty of it! And that is definitely not my specialty 😂 with insta, all I need is my phone so for now I’m sticking with that!

I love Merit beauty their lipsticks are soo good especially the signature matte lipsticks for me so effortless and comfy. I also like their foundation stick though kinda expensive and their solo shadows so good I have studio and Braun. And the little make up bag is so cute 😍😃✨

😂😂😂LOL AT ME DA,Spoo I have been drinking a prebiotic drink like at least to 4 to 5 a week and I commented on one of your last vlog with thrive market but, these drinks I have been getting at WalMart there good I'm addicted bad and n I w I'm taking the prebiotic vitamin now to and I'm telling u they have changed my body sooo much thank you soo much gurl ... I actually went into this store tonight with mom were clear over here in Rapid City South Dakota shopping and this store had actual popies I tried watermelon 🍉 it was pretty good my mom got the orange one and both of those are good I also got the lemon lime and the grape one ... I been watching you for forever like 10 years at least and I so much appreciate you ypur a real human being just on KZfaq ya know but I just wanted to let u know my last post I told ypu my favorite flavor was RootBeer omgness its Stilll #1 to me but yess go to Walmart girl and try those rootbeer for sure ...I have a question for 😂about thrive market cuz I'm on disability so I get food stamps and I know and u were saying something about thrive gives how do u do that u mean I will spend my food stamps there ALLOT....I just can't afford the subscription so if you know please do tell❤❤❤k thank ypur like my 2 yrs younger sister

So kinda like your merlin app, my son's girlfriend uses an app alot like that only for plants. She takes a pic of a plant or flower, like in the yard or down at the park and the app tells her what it is and the info on it.
