This interview is longer than most, but for good reason. My good friend, Leah Dennis, shares her personal journey of what it was like witnessing her mother (diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2016) experience Parkinson's psychosis, only they didn't realize it was PD psychosis right away. In this video, Leah touches on "red flags" and warning signs that every care partner and patient should pay attention to. This is an episode you don't want to miss.

Do you have an episode on Shy-Drager syndrome? Supposed to be a rare form of Parkinson’s…..my mom was diagnosed with this and also Orthostatic Hypotension(low blood pressure) this episode shed some light on her ‘panic attacks’ and other phenomena

Like financial? We have a non-profit, the 5KforJK (www.5kforjk.org) where we raise money to drive awareness by delivering Parkinson's kits we created, support exercise programs, and the podcast. To-date, we don't use those funds to support the podcast (we just donate our time and talents), we are looking for corporate sponsorship so we can fund the podcast, allowing us to advertise and do things that would cost us money.

Luckily if caught early enough it can be reversed I hear. New research found that it is caused by sugar. The cells in the body are glycated from all the junk/processed food, not to mention all the foods the body turns into sugar. Basically anything you put in your body other then fat and protein turn into sugar automatically and stored as fat. So that piece of toast you had this morning turned into sugar by the body. The cells get glycated from the sugar running around in the body and get stuck to the outside of the cells. For you to move your fingers, a signal has to travel from your brain to your finger cells. If the cells are glycated the signal can't get in...so the brain keeps sending out signals....similar idea as restless leg syndrome. So the research been showing putting these people on a high fat, no carbs at all is bringing people out of the dementia and the body is able to detox all the sugars and eventually replace all those cells with new ones approximately every 3 months. If you want to learn more about this Dr. Ken Berry on youtube just put up a video on hope for Alzheimer's and Parkinson patience. He also posted all the research paper in the notes so you can read them as well. Here the article I saw and only just stared researching on it myself. www.thesun.co.uk/health/24524117/fat-triglycerides-dementia-risk-lower/ So forgive me if I have a bit twist why I recommend going to see what Dr Ken Berry has to say, he saved my life maybe he can help you. Good luck, and remember the right foods are good for the body. Also if you have loved ones with cancer....people are reporting this is working for them as well. First brain cancer to live over a year after treatment and cured. He still has a few months to go I believe before he is cleared as okay. Good luck peeps and claim your life and health back.
