Got the quarter panel arch piece all tacked in and ready to be fully welded in. Follow me @ tuques_n_tires?... / tuques-n-tires-1060359... Not saying it’s the right way or the wrong way, its just the way I do it!

Love it! My dad and I are restoring our 79 K5 that day for 20 years in a field, the rear of it and the quarters wasn’t salvageable, so we cut down a short bed and made it work!

Rez Rocket is my 89' Caprice, takes me everywhere, shakes like a shuttle above 90kms. Flyaway (previously Rusty, Dusty, And Unreliable lol) is my 84' C10, A Shot of blue paint and a tune-up and it's a good garbage running rig lol

Just found this vid, awesome work! Going to try and do the same to my 74 C10 longbed. 1 question, no need to remove the inner wheel wells? Greetings from the Netherlands! (Half Canuck from my moms side)
@TuquesNTires Жыл бұрын
Thanks! No you shouldn’t have to remove the inner wheel wells to do this, good luck with your project!

I cant seem to figure out why you wouldn't have just bought the full bed side replacements? You have so much time into cutting and fitting and then all the body work associated with all the patch panels 🤷♂️
@TuquesNTires3 жыл бұрын
Well the truth is that I can’t afford the full bed sides, to do it this way it only cost just over $250, with shipping just to get the two full beds side it would have costed me $2000, I understand that yes this probably took me more time but you do what you have to do when you have other projects to put money into as well.

@@TuquesNTires things must cost more in Canada, they're only $320 a side down in the US.. keep plugging away atvit, wanna see how it turns out!

@@22jgibs yeah getting anything for the US with the difference in US to Canadian Dollar is crazy haha it’s getting there though, a new video will be out Friday 🤟
