Those early 1990's trucks were seriously easy to work on.

if you look his clips are different, they seem to install from the rear. if he installs them from the front there is a strap going between the clips that might interfere with the housing.

I wish i could post a picture, but my 93 uses the same clips and grill and when i took them off to replace mine were facing the opposite of how he put them in although looking at the after pictures it doesn't seem to matter but i would think his turn signal housing would be more sunken it

They 100% are backwards the screw goes in from the side that the connector bar is on and spreads the four tabs out.

They are in backwards. They go in from the outside making the park light sit flush with the outside of the grill same as the headlight. I have a 1992 Silverado k1500 that I purchased new. 1994 and newer park lights are different. They sit in to far and do not sit flush with the grill. Ask me how I know.

You can swap a Chevy grille on a GMC, but you will also need new turn signal and marker lights. You cannot add a GMC logo to a Chevy grille as the bow tie is typically molded into the grille. And thanks for the kind words!

It is very rare for a vehicle manufacturer to use specially made seals. Virtually all of the seals used in these vehicles are standard sizes. The seals will have either (or both) the manufacturer's part number or seal dimensions. Or, measure the diameter of the shaft being sealed, the outside diameter of the seal and the thickness of the seal. May be either a metric measurement or an imperial measurement. You should be able to Google using one or more of these criteria and find what you need.
