In 6th cpc fitment factor was 1.86 for the employees but fitment factor was 2.26 for the pensioners. This fitment factor was very much methodical for the pensioners as they don't get any sort of allowances.

Kindly confirm that whether the Option-2 will be considered in the 8th CPC ,as Option-1 was rejected by the Cabinet Secretary and Option-2 has been adopted by the Cabinet Secretary in the previous 7th CPC.

Option-2 means next higher stage after calculating the Fitment factor by viewing in Pay Matrix chart in the respective various Pay levels.
