The only thing that would have made this scene better is if Eddie stayed and they had a family dinner, not just babysitting, being friends or co-parenting ❤️.

A stereotypical family dinner be too saccharine for Eddie. His personality is pretty dark and gritty (it is not very noticeable when he is with Buck, as Buck keeps on encouraging him to be better). He is probably Machiavellian (psychology trait). Though, you could do a similar thing if gaming 🎮 was involved and it would work.

Its part of his villain 😈 arc. Also, it is probably for the best he gives up on long term relationships, because he is extremely shallow. He never seems to care about his girlfriends as people or enjoy their companionship. He just finds them physically attractive ❤🔥. It would stop the women from getting their hopes up it could lead to a loving relationship. Which is for the best.
