I've watched Jay Jonas' testimony in multiple 9/11 documentaries, and I admire him so much. It breaks my heart how much time has passed since that day.

I’m sitting here listening to this and I’m so far from New York and I realize I’m listening to a bunch of heroes taking to a hero. To me you are all real heroes. May those who didn’t make it out rest in peace. A company of real heroes. They will never be forgotten. Not as long as I live they will never be forgotten.

Just recently came upon your sight and been binge watching. No truer phrase then it being said about how proud we are of the FDNY. Being a New Yorker my whole life and growing up in Hells Kitchen we knew as kids when that handle in the red box was pulled, you guys would show. Great episode on 911. I got to meet Chief Jonas , his crew and the other survivors. All 18 of them. My name is Tom Canavan and I am the 19th survivor from 911. Thank you for bringing some awareness to how awesome the FDNY is. Also this podcast is educational in case of emergencies.

I deal with it every single day. And since then with all the brothers that have passed..especially In the last year..ff Gallagher my friend and 24 partner..friend for 35 years..rip all brothers..and my special friend Fred..fdny lives ❤️
