Great video as always. Coyote stock! My favorite racing class. What's not to love? High RPM, no turbos.. back to basics like when I was a kid. way back when I was teaching my GF how to drive a stick. Car was a 74 Mustang II Cobra (White with red stripes) with a warmed (cam, intake & headers) over small block. We came to a stop sign on a small hill, I told her to ease the clutch out till she felt it start to grab then get off the brake, hit the throttle and dump the clutch. She did exactly that and it went like a smokey pro stock burnout. Looks like Becky is having a ton of fun. A pro with the shifting!! Really enjoy your content.

Thanks Evan. I originally found your channel because of Coyote Stock. I have had the clutch tammer myself on non Mustangs and it's brutally effective.

Another thought.. back when I was growing up, 9.60's is what the top dogs were running.. Dyno Don, Grumpy, Sox and Martin and others.. this is almost oldschool! Awesome.

I saw the Dyno Don Maverick loose to the Sox and Martin Cuda in a match race. Luckily, I thought both cars and teams were equally exciting and didn't have a favorite. @@alexcorona

Hypothetically speaking, Suppose you damaged your engine and needed to break the tamper-proof seals to repair it. Would the NMRA allow you to recertify the engine and get a new tamper-proof seal? Does the engine need to be shipped back to Ford Performance?

Hey Evan I’m a big fan of the channel. Say Evan I got a question? So, I’m an inventor. I live in Tampa. I built a very unique cold air intake system for the 2015 to 2023 ford mustang it’s really cool, I was wondering if you could test it for me and give me your thoughts. let me know how to get a hold of you if your interested. Thanks, Brian, from Tampa fl.

@@nightmaremustang95jones-ij3ub No they are all Romeo modular engines. It's just fans don't like the word modular anymore. But if you know better then it makes no difference and it's funny to see people twist themselves into pretzels to prevent saying modular Ford engines.

What do the rules state when something inside the sealed engine breaks or needs repaired?

Can you run an 80's fox Mustang if it's Coyote powered? 🤔
@revanevan9 ай бұрын
Yes, but it needs this specific engine to meet the NMRA rules. You can find the rules at NMRA digital.com
@Hammerback09 ай бұрын
Looks like it. Her car didn't come out with a coyote. Rule is "sealed coyote crate engine" from what evan said
@dj4monie8 ай бұрын
@@Hammerback0 It's still a modular engine. It's the same engine 3/4th generation. SN95's did come with a modular engine after 1995. All this Coyote stuff just makes you feel better it doesn't change the fact that it doesn't matter if it's 2 valves, 3 valves or 4 valves they are all modular engines. As for Coyote stock there is a minimum weight but that is basically it. You buy the engine from any participating Ford dealer and start from there. Mustangs or cars based on the Fox chassis have easier bolt on suspension parts. That is why you see mostly Mustangs, the occasional Fairmont or Thunderbird.
