I love the tip about removing some of the leaves from the branches. You are right, it does make it look more elegant and sculptural. I laughed when you said that you washed the bugs and spiders off the tumble weed because I was just thinking to myself that they were probably full of little critters. 😂

I enjoy the natural for decor. Unfortunately, here in the Southerntier of New York State, we have dangerous ticks. I get concerned about bringing the ticks in the house on branches or dry grasses....etc.

These ideas are really great. I especially liked the foliage/branches ideas. The only ones I would tweak would be the snack table which would be better implemented with a coffee bar (All those snacks would make me thirsty), the crumpled art, and the area rug. I would either turn the rug so its width matched the door width or get a bigger rug altogether to fill that entry space. The brown twigs you used in the diy pot you could hang clear ornaments/icycles from as a transition into Christmas.

There is actually a reason why time feels faster the more we age! It has to do with percentages. To a 1 Year old, one year is 100% of their life. For a 30 year old, it’s about 3% of their life. So time feels smaller and smaller the older we get! It’s not just you.

I love te de canela! I add a little lime juice, and honey to sweeten. When you have a cold or sore throat this soothes your throat and just makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
