Emma had Multiple Myeloma which attacks multiple organs by traveling through the blood. Rest in Peace Emma. I will remember you as I fight the same cancer!

Here in US I worked in a state hospital with people with poor mentation. One of the staff brought in a jukebox and it turned the dayroom into a swinging party. I remember laughing, singing, dancing whirling people in wheelchairs around and around as Elvis Presley sang. People love music, it's good for us all and we need more of it.

I live in a Nursing Home in Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪. We have music several times a week. It just makes us feel alive still. We remember songs better now than in our earlier years. Just magical our days of songs gone by and never forgotten by us all xx

4:25 I can't believe that Simone died from domestic abuse, in such a brutal way, when she, or a loved one, battled a life-threatening disease. I did not see that one coming. I thought they were going to say the disease got her. That drew tears from me. I hope, at least, that the choir's time on stage brought some much needed blood donations. B+ blood is what they needed, every day. The name of the choir, B Positive, was a cool name but had a double meaning. I hope more than anything, that they achieved this goal of inspiring people to give blood so they and their families could survive this terrible disease. I am silently praying for all of them. I'm certain Simone is watching over them.

Even if her boyfriend is or was a veteran with PTSD, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be held accountable for murder. I know that's not what you specifically said but to me it was implied by even bringing it up and the comment about slipping through the cracks. A murderer is a murderer.

So sorry to hear about your son. I don't think any of us could possibly understand why. I lost a sister when she was only 35 to Domestic violence. She sang like an Angel but nobody listened. I don't know why she went when she did. But I've learned over the last 17 years since she's been gone, that the only thing I need to understand is how much she was loved and is missed. And I hope we meet again.

I've got tears coursing down my cheeks. Emma had a voice of an angel and i cant believe that now, at such a young age, she's singing with the Angels in Heaven. There were some awful tragedy's that befell some contestants and their talent and life taken far too soon before they could fully blossom. To all the contestants that entertained us and have sadly passed thank you and may you rest in peace dear hearts. Thank you for a wonderful video with pertinent information regarding their passings. Well done.

The 96 year old lady reminds me of my Dad who had a really good voice and had been singing for decades. He was singing at residential homes community centres and in musical at the local theatre up to 97. He got age related dementia but he still liked to listen to music. He died 43 days before his 100th birthday. The local singing group recorded him singing My Way a few years before he got dementia and My sisters had it played at the end of his funeral service.

It truly breaks my heart to see domestic violence victims lose her life in such a manner I pray for the families that lose loved ones like this, and if you’re in a situation like this know that there are resources available to you wherever you are in this world that you don’t have to succumb to this kind of violence that you are loved you are special and that you don’t deserve that I pray that you reach out to somebody don’t ever keep the silent speak up. It could be your own life you’re saving.

Amen to what you said,but… I couldn’t,because everybody was abusing me. And that’s why my children’s father got to abuse me in every which way! The State of Nebraska did it also. And then they all did this to my poor children! No Help here! This has gone on for years! No one gives a damn to fix our “past” history. I have it all in my head and my ptsd from it all as well. 😢

That was quite a shock to hear that such a young, sweet woman who was just beginning to feel accepted in the world, to feel confident and her beautiful voice heard and appreciated was taken so soon. That look on her face when she realized the audience loved her was probably the most wonderful moment in her entire life. A moment that we got to share with her. A moment that changed her. Surely she is the most beautiful Angel there ever has been in Heaven. Whenever I hear the birds singing sweetly now, I will hear her voice in that audition. If there is any meaning to her passing, I would guess that one of her life's purposes was to teach us all to look at what is inside a person, instead of what they are showing us on the outside, and perhaps to teach herself just how amazing her talent was. That audition was a gift that we didn't know was wrapped in extra special bows. RIP Emma. You touched me so beautifully. Thank you for being brave enough to get on that stage and change us.

I cannot get over Emma Jones' death. I was visiting my mother in the nursing home just yesterday and went to share Emma's audition with her. Was visibly shaken to discover this beautiful and gifted soul had passes on. My 💜 goes out to her family, friends, and all those who's lives were touched by her. Whenever I need to feel better I watch her rendition of Pie Jesu, simply amazing! ❤❤❤

i belong to a breavement support group. there are real stories of loved ones passing quickly at young ages leaving families in shock and disbelief . We need to treasure each day of our lives because we never know what will happen to us day to day. Count our blessings every day.
