Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, 2001 Winner, Darren LaCroix. 2001 was considered by many one of the most competitive years of the speech contest. This is becomes even more interesting when you know his story of how he bombed miserably in a Boston comedy club just nine years prior. He was the least likely to be on stage making people laugh. @@StageTime Audience outcome is what it is all about. I truly learned that these past months. It's very hard to work so hard on a speech in order to get out of the way message being delivered.

Off hand I do not remember, and a bit busy to go look it up. I assure you we did. Every year. They are usually the ones willing to do the work and they are sponging!
