$9 Drill pump really works ( I couldn't believe it)

In this video I used a 9 dollar drill pump with my cordless drill to pump water at least 60 feet to my first pig paddock. This is amazing! I have plenty of water on my farm but I dont have a good way to get it into a container to water the animals. Now i can pump my barrel water full and not have to worry.

Yep, I bought that same Drummond drill pump at harbor freight. It’s better than what Home Depot, Ace, and Lowes sells. It works great. Now all he needs to do is find a gear box, run an electrical line out to the gear box, affix a regular drill head to the gear box, attach a switch at the other end of the line so he doesn’t have to walk all the way down there to turn it on, and he’s in business.

Thank you a ton! I just got the exact one for my gf. The well pump at her house went out with the winter storms here lately. Hopefully now she can get her dogs water, and get a bucket-full to do dishes or fill the toilet tank so it can flush. She will be trying it out later today

Haha, doggo is like "is he playing with fire again? Oh hell nah, I'm outta here" Was very suprised how well these things work for the price, someone deserves a beer or 3 for this gadget, saves me so much time on the allotment now........ not to mention the walking saved too 👍

@@7StandsFarm yeah, I had a similar problem at first too, not enough pressure, but soon as I stopped pumping from the top of my tank and fixed some proper plumbing from the bottom the gravity fixed that for me and saved my battery as I no longer need high speed Good luck out there, hope you get a good summer for your harvests 🙏

Honestly, I don’t think my drill has ever seen first gear. Lmao. Awesome video. Just bought one myself. Hoping it will pump from my 30 foot irrigation well for my garden.

Great pump I purchased one and it rips I managed to find 3/4 id hose barbs, foot valve and suction hose. I wouldn't be surprised if it puts out 55-60 psi!

Man that’s awesome!!! Didn’t know that even existed. We thought you had the drill on reverse which is why it wasn’t pumping. Looks like you’ve got yourself a co-star!!!

That's great! We've got 2 or more paddocks I've been trying to figure out water for. This should work. The 2 paddocks are even downhill from a pond which should help some. Thanks for the video

I would like to see a video where someone uses a small water wheel to turn one of these pumps. I think it would be a bit hard to prime. I think it would deliver water slowly. But continually? Or since he just failed on low speed does that prove it's TOTALLY high rpm dependent? Even after it's primed?

I don’t know I just bought a replacement pump for one hundred have had for 2 years it was only $11 from Amazon so it might be worth a try Buy Miles pump from Amazon

I agree that pump didn’t last to long but I bought a miles drill pump from Amazon and it has been good for over a year the link is on my new KZfaq video descriptions for it
