The fairy nuff healing is OLD. There are a lot of old vestigial mechanics in the game. just shows how long it's been going.

As somone who watches these types of vids for old school, its absolutely wild how these things are still in the game over 10 years later lol Also if anyone is curious the reason you cant kill the wolf woman again is because in the quest frenkenstrain is using the ring of charos on you to make you do morally questionable things. Once the quest is over your character remembers their ethics and wont kill her anymore

They need to bring back sandwich lady event so she can start knocking people out and teleporting them again

that dorgesh kan agility course is also a master clue step also npc contact spell for construction contracts is the best method to get points for the outfit

Stuff like this always makes me wish there was an RS3 randomizer. I also really want a questline where you progress through the eras of RS and have to deal with old mechanics like fatigue and the graphics progress throughout the quest. You could get knocked out in wake up in classic all confused and have to find ways to upgrade the graphics and mechanics.

Otherworldly beings are also a super rare source for dragon med helm. Like people would farm dust devil for dragon chains.

Used to train combat at experiments with xp rate about 60k/hr back in 2006. Good ol' times man.

I've been going for comp and revisited almost all of these area's. Nice one but some area's are really tedious.

Experiments were a major combat training method! Spent loads of hours at them, I could never forget!

Not that we can really show it aside from old footage and screencaps, but classic had 2 unique quirks as well: 1). Certs (certificate of items) since there was no option to note items in classic to trade bulk to players or general stores players would have to go to an npc in draynor village and trade 5 of said item to get 1 cert. and 2). Inventory space used to be 30 slots not 28. But players usually kept a sleeping bag on them at all times to combat fatigue, so it really was only 29 items in inventory then.

The experiment caves, gives me flash backs to grinding melee a long time ago

It's fun comparing these to OSRS videos on similar tooics and seeing how similar they are to each other.

I still have 808 holy water in my bank stockpiled from long forgotten goals of tormented demons log hunting. Maybe one day I'll use it... Protoxx did you forget? That Dorgeshuun cave agility course is featured in a clue scroll. It's not as dead as you might think! At least worth setting up the grapple points.

Even knowing about most of these from way back in the day like the paramaya ticket, I had NO IDEA about the Fairy Nuff gem healing thing. There's nothing post-quest that ever indicates that to be a thing. So bizarre, so 100% truly useless.

My friend and I used to make holy waters to farm demon flash mobs :D It was a pretty good strategy before the power creeps. We got several titles, but never the frostborn or the blazing

The game has gotten so big that there's dead content (like the Dorgeshuun agility course) all over the place. Most of the interesting transportation systems got completely invalidated when they added the Lodestone network, so more need for things like the ogre boat and the balloon system.

I use Holy Water for tormented demons, other than that all the other content I've never touched.

Don't forget Jagex is lying to you.

@3:53 When I learned about it back in the day, I wanted it to be that I could given them X of an item and "save" N number of trips but it was a 1-for-1 thing so I gave up on it. @5:10 Otherworldy Beings have been there forever. They had a decent drop table before 2007 but nothing special. I think they gave a good rate for cosmic runes (as well as nature and law?)?

I'm pretty sure the chest in the ogre area can only give you a emerald if you don't have one already
