Prison is nice compared to torture and near death roller coaster every moment. Some places are the worst crimes you can think of. When the prison so tough they cannot pay anyone any amount of money, they have to have fellow inmates do the job. Like a Prison with a Robot and automated food tray that says; So and So with So and so will beat inmate #37,888,336 or nobody eats.

I was doing 60 days of work crew in the San Juan Islands for possession of marijuana and tested positive for pot on a random drug test. I was taken into custody and put in the Friday Harbor jail which only has 3 cells with 2 bunks each, 10' x12', a steel toilet w/tiny sink, no windows, solid door with an openable slot for food trays, no clock/tv and florescent lighting that is on 24 hours a day. They are considered holding cells and 72 hours is the max stay, you are supposed to be allowed 1 hour outside the cell every 24 hours and a shower after 48 hours. Long story short I was held there 23 days, never let out once, only contact I had was 3x a day the slot opened and a small tv dinner slid in and 30 or so min. later it would open and they would take it back. The only way I could keep track of time or days was by the type of tv dinner I got. On the 23rd day the head Sheriff let me out to wash his car. He said "I hope I can trust you to not run away, you'll be unsupervised" and he walked me outside, got the materials needed and went back inside. As I was washing the car I noticed a deputy behind some bushes trying to hide and watch me and another one inside a coffee shop across the street also watching. I found it humorous because we're on an island and the only way off is by ferry and I had a great job to go back to, a nice 10 acre farm with my 2 horses and 2 llama waiting for me. After finishing I rang the buzzer to get back in and was immediately handcuffed, driven to the airport, put in a Cessna and flown to Coupeville to serve my last 2 weeks. I was released at 5am and let out in shorts and t-shirt into driving rain and 40°. It was 42 miles to the ferry terminal to get home and if I did make it I didnt have money to take the ferry anyway. As I was walking I saw a lady on her porch having a coffee and thought how weird...lol. Watching her as I walked by she called my name? It was a lady I had known on the island a couple years before. That was the best coffee and shower I ever had... She drove me to the ferry terminal, paid my fare, gave me a kiss and drove away. I'll never forget her. I should have sued the Hell out of them but waged a personal war with those responsible that resulted in the Sheriff getting fired along with 2 deputies and another demoted. To some I was a local celebrity and others loathed me. Being locked up with no human contact, no concept of day or night or time is inhumane and pure Hell. It was only 3 weeks but I could see some people losing it in that time. Never been in trouble since and no longer live on the island. In the end it came down to choices I made. I got in trouble, did something stupid and if I hadn't done either of those I would have never been in the position to go through any of it. Think about that before being stupid....

In that Russian prison, the prisonners aren't only blindfolded when they are moved, but the guards also take different routes and detours everytime a prisonner is moved to prevent the prisonners from remembering the prisons lay-out.The prisonners also aren't allowed to talk to eachother, the only time they are allowed to speak is when prisonguards ask them something. And even than they have to answer with only "Yes, sir" or "No, sir"....Other prisons around the world might be much more dangerous (stabbings, murdering, beatings by other prisonners,...) and unhygienic, but that Russian prison is menthal torture.Imagine not being allowed to speak, standing up on your feet 16 hours a day.No TV in the cell, no reading any books or any other way to escape into your mind.Just constantly reminded why you are there and the menthal hell you are undergoing.Time there moves excrusionating slow...and even when you would manage to escape...you are hundreds of miles away from civilisation in freezing Siberian conditions.Temperatures around there average between -20 to -40°C.Hardly survivable in just a prison outfit trying to run hundreds of miles through the Siberian forests before reaching any town or city.Prisonners also aren't allowed to look at the guards, they have to look at the floor so they can't see the guards faces or bodyly features. That prison regime is absolutely brutal !!! That's hell on earth !!!

Yeah dude, I’ve lived in a couple county jails for a decent chunk of time, I’ve also been in the Joint for a bit. Being locked up is what you make of it, and how you carry yourself, I’ve seen some pretty disturbing and distressing stuff in both the jails and the prison. I’m sure without a doubt different prisons/jails are worse than others for different reasons but that doesn’t mean your going to deal with the typical stereotypes that come with being locked up like being murdered and raped. Shit like that doesn’t just happen outta nowhere, ppl that get raped or stabbed or locked to death do shit to get them in that situation, typically running up a debt, or ratting out someone for contraband. Tobacco, drugs, cell phones. Especially if said person that got told on is affiliated with a gang or a person who ran up a debt is not affiliated with a gang but the guy he owes is in a gang, well then it’s just open season whenever they see him.

And I've mentioned this more than once... There is cellular prison in Andaman and Nicobar islands... The Indian govt runs it as some touring place because it's were freedom fighters were kept... But the nation's loosing the freedom now to hooligans and corrupt politicians... It's my wish to convert that to prison again for these criminals away from human contact and there is no escape from an island... Follow some strict regiment on these so called local terrorist to extract more info on their network... They should know the cost of lives of each freedom fighters... And know that they have no right to turn their own nation into slavery in name of religion or caste, just for the sake of power and wealth... Frankly I have hardened myself against criminals and I have no mercy knowing their plight in prison... Except I recommend that no innocent is there and have through investigation before they get locked... A one way ticket... No exit!! To human equality and justice...

I’ll start with my story that happened a few years ago. I had sold my car because I lived in the city and transit was good. One Christmas my daughter 20 and I decided to travel to my sons place in the mountains about ten hours by freeway. My daughter said she would rent a car and pick me up at seven am. I was all ready to go but no daughter, finally at nine thirty she woke up and went to get the car. Well she couldn’t because her License wasn’t good enough and I couldn’t rent it as my license was relapsed. So my daughter said no worries, my friend went to Mexico and left her car at my apartment and said I could use if I wanted to. I said all that way? I asked if it had snow tires, and no it didn’t. Now it’s noon, it’s Xmas eve, my daughter calls around to see if she can get snow tires, we show up at an appointment for tires but they had the wrong model, so my daughter who shall remain nameless, says no problem we will get chains. I said have you ever put chains on before? She said how hard can it be! I said I know I don’t know how, she said they come with instructions. Eek. So finally about three pm we set off from Vancouver, no problem until we get about half way and it starts snowing. Finally we see a garage we decide to stop and ask for help with the chains. It’s closed! In the faint light we both try to get the chains on, after freezing our hands, soaking our legs, a semi truck stops and the driver helps us get the chains on. He says stop in about twenty minutes and tighten them. Well we tried but since we didn’t know how I guess we failed. About another half hour went by and we heard banging. Sure enough a chain had broken. Well no problem says me, I had metal water bottles with carabiners on them and so I joined the broken chain with one of the carabiners. Well that was great until the next chain broke, I then used the other one. Then another chain broke and I used metal twist ties from the bag holding my Xmas baking. After we had used all pieces of metal we could find it is now snowing hard, we are in the mountains it’s very late, no traffic at all and pitch black and we are stopped as the chains are now wrapping around the wheels. Lol. So my daughter who has of course been driving tells me as we are sitting there at one thirty in thr morning in a non running car, with no phone service that we are almost out of gas. Like empty. 😆 omg, then she adds, my friend texted me to say she forgot to mention the insurance was due. Eek. So we are in a blizzard, dark, on a deserted road, no phone, almost no gas, can’t move no insurance and well to say tensions were running high would be an serious breach of truth. 😡 as we were sitting in the cold dark car with the sound of snow on the windows, I finally see lights coming from behind. I jump out of the car and stand in the middle of the road waving my arms. A trucker! Thank god! He stopped to see what was wrong and was open mouthed while I told our sorry tale. The poor guy pulling an all nighter on Xmas eve, unwrapped all the chains and took them off, it took him almost an hour in the snow and in the dark. He then said he would follow us to make sure we got to a gas station as he said we could probably make it as he knew a twenty four hour one was ahead about 45 minutes away. Well we did, we made it with the emptiest tank I’ve ever seen. We were so thankful for all his help, he refused cash but he did accept all my Xmas baking. Haha. My daughter leaves the room whenever I bring this story up, which isn’t often as anyone can imagine. 😆 so ya, Xmas gone wrong is a good theme.

@Q Productions I'm assuming then u don't believe in forgiveness or rehabilitation then? I mean that's fine if that's how u feel...but what a lot of people don't realize is that there are other inmates there for minor offenses like theft & things like that...they're not all murderers & rapists, yet they're held to the same standard of rules as the inmates there for serious crimes. Not tryin' to argue, but I work in a prison, & I've seen some truly miraculous examples of even the baddest inmates doin a total 180 & turning their life around for the better.

@@boredy573 I'm gonna say it 1 more time for the cheap seats & those hard of hearing. I'm not talkin' 'bout the killers & rapists. While I still believe that even the worst of the worst can be rehabilitated, cuz I've seen it w/my own eyes since like I said, I work in a prison, my comment was aimed at inmates serving time for minor offenses. Can u honestly say that someone serving an 11 1/2 - 23 month sentence for petty theft should be held to the same judicial mandates in their correctional facility as someone serving multiple life terms for murder?? That's all I'm sayin' here brah. I'm not justifying their crimes 1 bit...u do the crime, u do the time. Ok so someone steals something for w/e reason, yet like the inmates who committed murder or rape, the thief has to stay on his feet 16hrs a day?? C'mon now. It's the same reason I have a problem w/the policies currently in place in the prison where I work. In actuality, let's say ur on probation for a minor offense, & then in some way u violate that probation either by a dirty urine, failure to report or pay on ur fines, etc...You'll be locked up 23hrs a day for up to 1yr, or however long it takes ur probation officer to address ur violation. U know who else is locked down 23hrs a day?? Terrorists, rapists, murderers. Now tell me if that's fair...& the prison where I work justifies it by sayin' its due to Covid. BULLSHIT!! We haven't had an outbreak in months, new inmates are kept in quarantine...I've worked there long enough to realize that ANY CHANCE THEY GET to lock the jail down, THEY DO IT, CUZ IT'S LESS WORK FOR TUE GUARDS. They literally can come into the jail, sit at their desks for 8hrs, watch TV, & the only thing they have to do is every hour they have to walk around the pod to make sure nobody is hangin' themselves due to the conditions which absolutely amount to torture, & THAT'S IT...& MAKE $75-$100K/yr when u factor in overtime. I'm sry, I totally went off on a tangent there so if ur still reading up to this point, thx for letting me vent, ha.
