If you live in a colder climate, chances are you will find yourself reaching for a versatile and warm scent that has the ability to pierce through the cold. In this video, we look at 9 phenomenal cold weather fragrances from the niche category. We will go through all of them by spraying and providing our initial reactions. Following that, we then will pick out our favorite and least favorite. We hope you enjoy it!

I've just started watching you guys about 2 weeks ago and I must say, I've been learning more about more unique and niche fragrances more than ever as compared to watching other reviewers. Honestly, one of the best lists I've seen amongst many reviewers. This is solid! My least fav would have been Lune Feline (maybe I expected more out of it in terms of presence) and favorite pick would have been way too hard because I love BA, Naxos, GS, AS for the different purposes they serve. I will try Awake again bc what I smelled from a sample did not leave that strong coffee/cardamom vibe with me. Thanks for this interesting video - it's a keeper!

@@amaterasublack3519Both of them are sweet fragrances. If you like amber it can be Grand Soir, if you like honey and tobacco it can be Naxos. I also advise you for a formal and romantic event Penhaligon's Uncompromising Sohan as an oud and rose combo, most suitable for men imo.

Sadly, living in Texas I get about 2-3 months of cold weather. But that means I can spend a bit more on those fragrances! Thanks for the video, guys!

That’s a stunning list you’ve got there. I wore Naxos today, for me I get a coconut type vibe off the lavender. I’m a sucker for honey tobacco. My favourite cold weather fragrance is Royal Oud, a beautiful sandalwood & cedar dry down that’s class in a bottle.

Lune Feline is one of my favourite perfumes too! I'm eagerly writing down Courtney's loves, we seem to like a lot of the same in a fragrance. I'd love to see even more non-masculine fragrances on this channel!

First I would like to say that I am happy to see you as a reviewer. Your sig other is great but hearing you point of view is a breath of fresh air. I have a recommendation for you if you love warm and comfortable scents that are unique to me. Have you ever tried anything from the house of Scent of Wood. It is worth the try I must say. You really should contact the house and get samples to try out, I don't think you will regret it.

Threw on Grand Soir to follow along with you. I have several amber frags myself. I strongly reccomend trying Xerjoff Ivory Route. I burned thru a 3ml bottle and decided to grab a bottle. It's in my top 10. Other great cold weather frags I like: killian black phantom and initio side effect. If you ever want to split a bottle of Chris Collins Sweet Taboo it is my #1 favorite fragrance right now!

New subbie. Love the content and editing. My favorite winter fragrance is Oud Satin Mood by MFK. Angels Share by Kilian is right behind it.

I just bought Grand Soir last week as a replacement for my Tom Ford Beau de Jour, which I wore year round. MF Kurkdjian definitely created a masterpiece, a perfume that, although as you said, works great for winter, even so in summer with a little essence it can have a pleasant effect, especially in places with a tropical climate.

Great list , first time I’ve seen aoud leather on any list!!!! Underrated. Also have you guys tried Beufort’s Iron Duke?the leather smelI is different, didn’t like it at first but it’s growing on me!!! It’s a challenging smell!!??

Naxos is absolutely phenomenal. That calm cinnamon nuance.. Ambre Sultan is a amber based masterpiece. Really want to try MFK Grand Soir and Akro line. Olivier Cresp is a master of gourmand perfumery..

'Lanvin Avant Garde' is my winter comfort go-to. Also the season to happily wear some 'Prada Amber pour Homme Intense'.

Grand Soir is my favorite on the list for sure. In defense of Black Afgano, it’s definitely the edgiest. Where most of the fragrances here can be worn formally, Black Afgano is easily the most rock n roll.

I definitely agree, Serge Lutens is vastly underrated and reasonably priced at that! Amber Sultan definitely has its place, as a dry, smoky amber. Great for dressing up and down imo. Fantastic videos, you two!

Am unfamiliar with Honey Oud but there's a bottle of Floris Santal in my dresser that I just cannot make work for me (female in my 30s). Though it's sweet and soft and floral and unobtrusive unisex, on me it smells old-fashioned masculine, as well as too formal. It came to me a few years ago, and unfortunately, it hasn't come to suit me, at least not the way I'm wearing it (2/3 spritzes in the air, spin into it clothed). Could I layer it with something else to make it more up-to-date casual and femme? Or should I just trade/sell it and give up?

Black Afgano blew me away when i first smelt it. I think i ended up Pardon more but don't have either any more. I do have Terroni and Boccanera by Orto Parisi though so.....whatever. I remember seriously considering Amber Sultan when i was looking for an Amber Representative in my collection but opted for Ambra Aurea by Profumum Roma in the end. I still want to get Arabie by Lutens though.

Hey teddy. Shame I didn’t see Nishane’s Ani on there. I assume it is still on your to smell list? It works rather splendidly as both a cold and warm weather fragrance as long as you remember to tone it way down for the summer (Nishane’s performance is both a blessing and a curse).

It’s funny I just picked up a sample of Naxos. Beautiful fragrance - very well blended. It inspires me as a hobbyist perfumer. However on the other end of the spectrum I was incredibly disappointed with Black Afgano. I remember reading about this cannabis note, and was sad when it was just a touch of generic herbalness with an overdose of Norlimbanol. NOT a masterpiece at all… at least IMO 😅
