My Flower Farm

Күн бұрын

The weather was perfect this week for getting some work done outside. I was able to start prepping beds for dahlia planting on my flower farm and I got some more seedlings planted. And in-between those jobs I continued my fight against the cutworms by spraying BTK and hunting them in affected areas. The week ended with the arrival of my new to me chicken tractor. I'm super excited to get this out to the field next week and let those chickens find the cutworm.
Thanks again for joining me this week on my flower farm! I hope your garden chores are going well!

Thanks for inviting us to hang out with you, Ms. Jen. (It's always a pleasure 💚.) I'm no expert on bouquets, but I think you should give the crimson clover a try. I can imagine they would be perfect in a bouquet. If you decide to go with them, it would be great to see what the final bouquets look like. I wish you a wonderful Sunday. Greetings to Bob and your kids. 🏡💐☀️

Making a little recyclable environment 😊 Chickens and ducks eat the cut worms and their poops could be manures for the plants. Kind of cool!👍🏻🍀

Good luck with the chickens, Jen - I really hope they knock back your cut worms. I remember seeing your lisianthus troubles last season on IG and it was just gutting. My fingers are firmly crossed 🤞🏻

Hi! 🖐️😎 Your amazing videos have become a fun habit for me on Sunday. Teacher Bob and you have a very important and beautiful place in my life. It is very gratifying to host you two every week and to also be your guest. It's good to see Teacher Bob on your channel again. Your process of getting the chicken tractor into the ground was very funny and entertaining. You are both wonderful people and a very harmonious couple. Be always happy like this and may your contagious happiness spread to everyone. I love you both. 💯♥️😊👍 Have a great Sunday! Please say hi to dear teacher Bob. Love from İstanbul! Bye👋😊🌹💐♥️

Hi, if I'm not totally wrong I think dahlia roots produce a kinda repellent against nematodes, maybe this will work for cutworm too? 👍
