This channel kicks ass! Literally and metaphorically speaking, lol. I wish I would have known about you guys 2-3 years ago before I hurt myself lifting and training. I blew out 2 discs, severely pinched a nerve in my back, tore ligaments in my knees, elbow, and messed up my SI joint. I started fighting at 170 11 years ago and worked my way up to 235 at my peak. 235 with a size 34 pant size. I felt amazing! I trained and ate like a beast in order to fight the super heavyweights at 235+ until my body took a shit. I was at my strongest, leanest, and was extremely agile for my size. Im at 205 now but am at least a couple of years away from being able to fight competitively. I've practiced Tae Kwon Do since I was 8, was taught how to box by my dad and grandfather, and my Grandmaster taught me Military Unarmed Tactical Training as well as Sambo. He's organized cage matches up in Northern Michigan for 15 years which I participated in. It didn't seem fair because most of my opponents didn't train hardly at all and partied so they were easy to defeat. They just wanted to fight me. I want a skilled opponent who might kick my ass or at least give me a run for my money. That's a good way to become better at anything is to have an opponent who has more experience and who may be better overall. It isn't fun getting in the octagon knowing your almost positive that you will beat them. I haven't been able to hit the gym since last February so I've lost quite a bit of strength and my mobility is shit. Be careful to any of those fighters out there who bodybuild or powerlift at the same time. Once you get hurt man, you've fucked yourself for awhile. Maybe you'll see me in a couple of years. God willing. Take it easy and LET'S WORK!!
