Self acceptance is so important!
@fitforfreelance
@fitforfreelance Жыл бұрын
@@FritzDWhite thanks. Do you feel competitive? Have you considered what led you to write this comment? All these things are important, and I believe they are interrelated. At the same time, I suppose the FOUNDATION is self-acceptance. Humility and loving others are born out of self-acceptance. Without it, there's a strong risk of codependency, manipulation, and trying to control outcomes. Loving others means accepting them. You can't understand accepting others without striving to understand how to accept yourself. You can't really be humble and modest without accepting yourself and understanding your value is not relative to others or how you interact with them. Think about it- if you don't accept yourself first... you think you're fundamentally flawed, then you'll go around thinking you're less important than others. You will feel humble in a lowly, self-effacing way. Any love you give will be from a place of trying to prove that you are acceptable to others and yourself. It would be from a less full-feeling place, and you would believe that you're not quite worthy to receive love in return. It can look like not being able to say thank you, receive compliments, or accept help or recognition for your work. Or an endless sense of trying to prove yourself and your love to the people you care about. Doing everything for others and not taking time for yourself. High stress, and feeling burned out. What do you think?
@fitforfreelance
@fitforfreelance Жыл бұрын
@@FritzDWhite I hear you. There's a need for nuance haha. People affected by personality disorders and some not-yet-conscious people will always do what they need to survive, so they can weaponize any philosophy, even self-acceptance. It's easy for them to think self-love and self-acceptance means they are better than others. Unfortunately, this is rooted in a deep challenge or impossibility to accept themselves. On the other hand, most people who are self-aware need to actually PRACTICE understanding self-acceptance so they can find balance and fulfillment. While loving yourself is natural, as children, many of us learn that we are somehow unacceptable. So we pursue it elsewhere until we have the opportunity to feel accepted- approval seeking, needing a sense of belonging. Grades, parental relationships, romantic relationships, being a parent, money, success, religion, sports, etc. It's a chase. The thing is, only the individual can grant themselves the experience of acceptance. If they outsource their acceptance to people, they are subject to the changing whims of those people. They can feel needy, rejected, and unsatisfied, and they are at risk of being taken advantage of by intentionally or unintentionally selfish people. For more context: this is why the spiritual side of religion is valuable for self-acceptance- its faith is inhuman and unwavering. A community built in the tenets of a spiritual journey accomplishes this too. However, sometimes religion can destabilize self-acceptance. There is caution around the idea of needing to do certain things to be fundamentally acceptable to other people- still, I believe that only you can give yourself that understanding and experience. (Even if you have to attend service or repent or be confirmed to believe and receive your self-acceptance!) When one learns self-acceptance, they understand that their divine nature, spirit, autonomy, whatever you call it, means they are amazing. You said Jesus, so you know that you are created in the image of God. And it follows that everyone has the same availability to their own self-acceptance- meaning that we are all co-equally amazing, and no one is better than anyone else. With this perspective, self-acceptance is unselfish. It's necessary, proper, holy, and actually a righteous contribution to society. You could even say to lack self-acceptance is to reject your divinity or the kingdom of God🌶️ It's SINNING! 😱 When we have this deep understanding, everyone around us is fundamentally acceptable. To the video, I believe this is what makes you attractive- people want to feel that way. That's why I think self-acceptance is so foundational; it lets us be humble while bringing our best self and loving service to others. I hope you can relate! 🤗 Thanks for the chance to clarify some of my thoughts
@fitforfreelance
@fitforfreelance Жыл бұрын
@@FritzDWhite I meant thanks for the thought-provoking convo! I think we're saying the same thing with different words. You may not believe we are divine. However, accepting ourselves, or choosing to accept a savior intending to connect with, model, and act on behalf of their divinity (our ideal self) are the same thing in practice. There are 100s of scriptures about how God works through us. What about Psalm 82:6: I have said ye are gods and all of you are children of the most high. Don't these mean we are directly connected to divinity, if not the hands or youngest generation of a divine source? The Christ who lives in you- is he part of your self, do you accept him or not =) I suppose it is only religious technicality (in each religion) to say I'm not divine if I don't intentionally externalize my acceptance. Who ultimately denies your experience of acceptance if you haven't chosen to accept Jesus or a deity as your source of acceptance? God? The church? People? Or your self? Any acceptance comes with the same risks of imperfectly practiced faith, or potentially inaccurate moral interpretations. However we find acceptance, it is priority for purposeful, intentioned works and quality of life. I think we're agreeing on concepts like higher consciousness and purpose, and that humility and loving other people are not more important than discovering acceptance. And since people like us value finding/ connecting with divinity through acceptance, we will seek the good in others and ourselves, and be more attractive.
@fitforfreelance

@@FritzDWhite and much closer than the spirituality of this all, just on the video- knowing God does not immediately make you more attractive in your approach to dating! You need self-acceptance if you ugly! Or if you stumble over your introduction, etc.
@fitforfreelance
@fitforfreelance Жыл бұрын
@@FritzDWhite ok, self-acceptance is not for you, and it may not be the message of Christ. We're not disproving each other. It's not something to be denied because there is no conflict. You are at once citing scripture and choosing which to interpret literally. This is my point- the ideas can be co-equal and are subject to the acceptance of the individual (but don't call it self-acceptance lol) The pharisees that no one liked told Jesus himself "before Abraham was, I am." Before religion, before deacons, officials, people who firmly have their own faith, this discussion, etc. I Am. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Matt 23:13 Being spiritually inclined while believing in free will is to choose to accept a higher consciousness. But I don't agree we are hopelessly corrupt; I believe we are mortal, and would be hopeless to attain the infinite, if that were the goal. This is the neverending goal of striving- godly but not God itself. Oneness with it, but not It. This is acceptance of an earthly perspective. If you faithfully believe that you are naturally corrupt or less than deserving, how could you/dare you partake or hope to participate in holiness? Wouldn't that be blasphemy the same? Except only through your personal, considered choice to accept what you believe is correct are you saved. At the end of the day, acceptance doesn't matter what you call it. We definitely agree it is important!

Other past bfs especially my first at 18 tried to actually kill me a few times. Am amazed I'm still here, so many near brushes with death thanks to the wrong people, and my ex who I left finally the 4th time 7 yrs ago for good, most harmful man in my whole life mentally. Today finally happy with the right man dont care about our age difference, its what makes it more interesting, is why it happens so much. I've not gone out and exercised lately as people are that bad as i'm good looking for my age, so trying to ignore people can be impossible, you just have to feel sorry for them as i do...

If you like challenging ideas and if mastery and masculinity are also subjects that interest you, I invite you to explore the videos shared on the Mastery Order Channel to challenge yourself with some ideas about manhood and to become the kind of man you would admire and look up to. We can only better ourselves together, as men among men, so I invite you to use what I share and, of course, share your own opinions so that others can benefit from them as well. Looking forward to your points of view. All the best to you!

1. I think he does find you attractive and he feels nervous around you, and just thinks you don't feel the same. (Low self esteem) on his part. 2. Or, he has a girlfriend and wants to stay away from you because he may like you or you may flirt with him. 3. Or he only sees you as a friend and you flirt with him and it's awkward for him. Sorry I couldn't really help. But just know you are beautiful and any guy who doesn't see that isn't worth your time.

But to this day iam single I feel the only way iam going to get girl if I become wealthy

Being nice works, except when you're overly nice because you have low self esteem. When guys are too nice it's doesn't seem genuine, it seems like an act. An example is Dwight from the office. Notice how he kissed Michael's butt, and Michael still ignored him. You can be nice but be yourself, and confidence is attractive, if you like the girl ask her out. If she doesn't like you in that way move on. Don't feel bad. Be confident that your a great guy that you'll find a great girl. And no you dont have to be rich. Remember confidence is attractive. You're attractive and have a great personality and you will attract the same if you wish.💚

1- Well, by EVOLUTION we are programmed to be a: attracted to movement and b: watch for predators. This is simply an artifact of watching who is moving around. Not really "attraction". 2- Maybe. There may be other situational factors though 3- For guys approaching women-yep. For guy approaching guys-nope see #1 women approaching women-nope. Can be seen as "bossy" 4- Yes, but as an "attractor" per se, I do not see the connection. If by attraction means sexual attraction anyway 5-6 MAYBE 7 Not necessarily. People could be nervous because you are: "creepy"/appear aggressive-hostile. See #1 it's part of the evolutionary flight or fight response. "nervous" is your body bowing up, releasing adrenaline which decreases reaction time, i.e slow-twitch muscle response and raises pain tolerance. 8- possibly 9- You are by definition NOT attractive if you bring on extreme NEGATIVE feelings. Pretty obvious...
