I agree that the Oakland Coluseum is easily the worst stadium in MLB. Tropicana is definitely the 2nd worst but Oakland is worse. Brodie Brazil is the only person I know of who actually claims the Coliseum is better than the Trop. He's biased though because he's an Oakland fan and reporter so he just wants to be able to say his team and city aren't the worst... But they are. Also... I love Mt. Davis. As far as I'm concerned it's a National Treasure. Whenever they demolish that abomination of a stadium I wish I could buy Mt. Davis and put it on the roof of my house. How can anyone not love Mt. Davis? It's a manmade mountain which is impressive on it's own. Not only that but it's a mountain *on top* of a stadium. It's basically the greatest thing ever created by mankind. 1. I have been to Tropicana Field a couple times. It is not great, but going from 95F to 72F is great, 2. I wish that LoanDepot Park incorporated aspects of the good ol' Orange Bowl, 3. PNC Park's exterior is amazing, 7. I love Camden Yards new LF walls. It is the exact opposite of what Comerica is doing. The biggest problem with additions to Camden Yards is the view of the bell tower is now gone thanks to that ugly motel that went up a decade or so ago, 8. I wish that the new Yankee Stadium's outfield walls had the dimensions of the early 1970s, not the last dimensions of the old stadium. A lot of these takes were pretty measured but the PNC Park take just feels like you're trying to be edgy. The inspirations from Forbes Field, the fantastic local limestone and steel exterior, the riverside location, the great new scoreboard, unique local food and beer options, proximity of the seats to the field, great options for food drinks and lodging nearby, the ferry service on the riverboats.... The only two things it doesn't do right is the concourses can get narrow and crowded and the bathrooms haven't been updated since it was built. Idk how many ballparks you've been to but I can't really think of anything comparably highly rated ballparks do significantly better.

I like the bold takes and unpopular opinions! But i gotta defend Comerica (we call it the 'CoPa'). First, the dirt path from home to the mound is a great throwback feature. Second, the right field pavilion/porch is a great environment. The park is terrific from a fan experience POV with the carousel and ferris wheel. I do hate that they didn't keep the original fences. Also, the upper deck is way too far back from the field. You can be in row 1 of the upper deck and still feel like a football field away. Not too many fouls make it up there...but Copa is still a fantastic park!

You’re definitely right about the old ballpark in Arlington being better than the new one As someone who lives in the area, has been to both stadiums and goes to games now it’s just a shame to have that great ballpark just sitting there across the street. That being said, I understand why they did it. They finally got big name position players and pitchers to sign here and it led to the teams first World Series win. Also, the game going experience is just better at the new ballpark - it’s cleaner, there’s more room, the amenities are nicer and it’s air conditioned. So as someone who goes 20 or more games per year I’m glad we have the new park. But once you’re in the seat and the games going the ambience of the old stadium is just better and more memorable.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I think multicolored seats at different levels is more exciting and engaging than all these same colored seats that are dark blue and dark green. Seeing all these same dark colored seats wants to put me to sleep, it might be professional looking , but it's not fun and that's what baseball stadiums should be about.. I think the dark colored seats work for the Yankees mystique, but it looks really boring in the Marlins stadium, especially for what the city represesnts. For people who say what does it matter what the color the seats are, I'll say people get out of their seat and move around, they leave the game early, and not every team is going to sell out the capacity either.
@chrisconley85835 ай бұрын

Now, they're trying to fix a cheap Jerry rig job with a knock off of Coors Field, done on the cheap again. Dolan sucks. 3. I don't go to baseball games to marvel at the latest features. I have one requirement, and that is that the stadium is a baseball only park, made for baseball. A completely outdoor stadium in Florida is even worse than it was in Texas since at least Texas is often (though not always) dry. When Tropicana opened, only SkyDome/Rogers Centre already existed as a retractable roof stadium and that had barely just opened before.

I loved Tiger Stadium the quirks, understood place needed at minimum a massive renovation or replaced by hope when replaced was those quirks, pluses would travel to the new park, never happened. The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington opened in 1994 mimicked Tiger Stadium with its right field, in fact I get mad when I see Rangers Ballpark in Arlington for two reasons, one wish that was ours, two fact the Rangers had leave, downgrade because of the heat. I really have little confidence Comerica Park will ever have any drastic change under current ownership, fact they continue go cheap, little league with the outfield walls, mix in the low payroll, team hasn’t made the playoffs in a decade with 1 winning season (2016) since.
