I’m a 19 year old guitarist on the lower end of intermediate and literally only play in my room and upload on TikTok occasionally. Thank you for the advice because I have been dying to meet other musicians for years now and never knew how. Definitely gonna start hanging around music stores and talk to people despite anxiety. Thank you so much

no prob at all - so glad to help and best of luck meeting some like minded musicians in ur area. Stay positive and keep getting out there and it will happen. I know its hard but it gets easier the more you do it and doors will open - best of luck. And thank u so much for your kind words - really appreciated. So glad that u enjoyed the video. And please check out some other of my lessons and enjoy and stay tuned - lots more lessons and content coming soon. I also have another KZfaq channel at ROCK ON GOOD PEOPLE here: kzfaq.info - which is more instructional based and not song based like this channel - be sure and check that one out also - lots of killer lessons and content as I post on both channels. And no pressure but if u want to donate to the channel I now have a Tip Jar link in the YT description box if u would like - but again, no pressure. Keep up all that hard work on that guitar and please subscribe to the channels. Take care, and rock on! -David Taub, Next Level Guitar Inc. & EGI

I live in a town with no music scene unfortunately. We have maybe 5 bands in total around this area, most of the members are pushing 70-80 with the exception of one band. It's actually impressive how little goes on here. Closest Guitar center is a 40 minute drive on the highway, and I have no car. Sometimes it isn't you but the location, luckily I go to a college and college towns are ripe with people and events so I just work there.

Good ideas. Thanks for reminding me to get out. Musicians are usually nice and pretty humble. A couple years ago, I went to a live blues show and met some musicians with that very purpose in mind. The drummer was really cool. I found out he lived only a few miles from me, and he invited me to drop by. Then the whole "pandemic" thing happened. I thought he might find it inappropriate for me to drop by, so I never did. I need to find people to play with. I'm tired of always playing by myself and I'm even losing motivation to play.

@@EpicGuitarInstruction David I’m really digging your end of video solo guitar playing. The tone and note choices are awesome. Stylistically is sounds a bit like fusion. I would definitely like to see a lesson on that style. The guitar tone alone is inspiring.

Hi how can start my music to go viral
@EpicGuitarInstruction
@EpicGuitarInstruction 2 ай бұрын
thats a great question and that is exactly what everyone is trying to do and get the formula for - you see all the courses people selling they have the formula to going viral and what not. Truth is - I really dont know and I think most people dont know either. Its a tricky thing trying to crack all the online platform algorhythms. My two cents is to start off having great, well written, and great sounding songs - with great audio that sounds killer. Next try to build a local following - or online following on TikTok or KZfaq releasing a song but have a release strategy - and a follow up strategy - play live shows and get fans - u probably know all this. I dont have the answer to your question and my apologies I cant be more help. Truth is that its a very very tough competitive business and takes a lot of hard work and a bit of luck. But keep at it and follow your musical dreams and goals. Just cause its hard does not mean that u cant do it. Best of luck and if you crack the viral code please let me know. Take care and rock on! -David Taub, Next Level Guitar Inc. & EGI
