So there is this one Brazilian boy in my school and every time we would see each other between classes we would always scream at eachother about how our own contries would win the game and everyone passing by would just stared at us like we were crazy. You can talk about football with your grandma and your little nephew, and they can both tell you stories about when Uruguay was a champion. I grew up as a soccer fanatic in a non soccer fanatic nation. I also lucked out and attended the World Cup in 2002 in South Korea. It's basically a world party that doesn't end. Little nations basically come in, and they take over the country, you have mini Brazil, Portugal, Ireland etc... It's a giant party for 30 days.
