I didn’t get that impression. I think that Mohammed was worried about the length of time he wouldn’t be able to see his own mom. I actually think he is in love with Yve but couldn’t understand why she needed to have a “big” wedding. You have to remember, he wasn’t going to have any of his own family there. Every time she delayed the wedding just meant longer to wait to see his own mom…he’s a mama’s boy. When he talked about a different sponsor it just meant that someone else could sponsor him. He could still marry Yve but the process to get a green card would be in the works. And for those of you that think the green card is only about being able to live and work in America, it also allows someone to leave America to visit family and then come back without having to start the process again.
