Another compilation of old ads for you. Pulled from VHS tapes lying in the depths of a cupboard somewhere. This time it's a compilation of those garish and tacky adverts for chat lines which were aired constantly during ad breaks in the middle of the night. They aired through the 90's and early 00's and were obviously before online dating or friend sites were a thing. They were something of a phenomenon at the time though, who can forget that Father Ted spoof "Priest Chat"!
I do actually wonder if anyone rang these and what happened and if anyone did actually meet someone off one. I also wonder who were the people who featured in these ads!
