Dr. Fred Bisci has been raw vegan for about 60 years and sits down with us to share how this has been and his experience in raw foods. He is so knowledgeable and he also does not have a dogmatic approach - which I really like and admire. This video is so awesome and one of my favorites. I hope you all love it as much as I loved making it.
love you all!

For other uses, see Blackback (disambiguation) and Silverback (disambiguation). Not to be confused with Guerrilla. Gorillas are herbivorous, predominantly ground-dwelling great apes that inhabit the tropical forests of equatorial Africa. The genus Gorilla is divided into two species: the eastern gorilla and the western gorilla, and either four or five subspecies. I live in one of the “blue zones”. We had Dr. Wareham who lived to be 104. Still doing surgery at age 92 and mowed his lawn at age 100. He attributed his longevity to his faith in God and his vegan diet. He also worked in his garden at least 10 hours a week.

I know this is an old video, but he got one thing wrong. Arthur Saxon did not die from kidney failure or from eating a carnivore diet. During and after world war 1, he was malnourished but still kept doing his strongman act. This led to him suffering from tuberculosis and ended up dying from pneumonia.

Wonderful! What a treat to see Dr Bisci again online. Dr Bisci is a legend. He is one of the most inspiring examples of the raw vegan lifestyle anyone can hope to encounter. So humble and modest too, he doesn't tell half of his extraordinary and profound experiences. Thank you Gillian and Fred! I was meant to see this interview today. He said so many things that were a confirmation to what the spirit of God was putting on my heart. Especially how prayer is the key to spiritual growth while fasting, so many people fast without prayer. Prayer and fasting is the key to getting a closer walk with our heavenly Father. Another aspect that Jesus talked about is keeping silent about your fast, it's a personal experience, not to be proclaimed to the world. If we seek recognition of our spiritual status by other people, than that is your reward. Fast and prayer in secret is rewarded in secret by our heavenly Father who sees all that we do in secret. (I speak of water fasting. ) God Bless you Gillian, You're a beautiful amazing person and I'm thankful for your channel.

I give full credit to Fred in my 100% raw foodism transition from vegan and I’ve spent alot of time with Freddie 25 years back at that house, raw food events, restaurants, hanging out and travels and he says the exact same thing he did then lol. 🤌Love him, always consistent and gave us a great raw vegan foundation ! We had alot of blended salads together. The health food store is tastebuds on Staten island…. I can hear him in my sleep “it’s not what you eat it’s what you leave out!” His dogs eat semi raw chicken and veggies. Btw-next time …Ask him what happened to his teeth on being fruitarian.

Fabulous Fred. This is the first longer interview I’ve seen with him. I agree with what he said about fasting. After a few short water fasts, after reading a lot of the Natural Hygienists, I undertook 30 days. And then 21. ( i feel that 28 would have been better, for me than 30. Each seven days was its own cycle. There are levels of cleansing. ) But yes, fasting is incredible, when you do it properly. I’ve settled into an intermittent fasting lifestyle, for the most part, and OMAD, but I am nit a zealot, and would probably call myself an intuitarian. That first long fast-all I looked forward to, at the end was a single, velvety leaf of baby spinach. Your perception gets so sharp. Consciousness takes a huge leap. Prayer starts to feel natural. You can cruise the produce aisle of a store ( i was still preparing a daily meal for my partner) and sense what is alive, and “high brix” Strong-gly suggest people look into brix and testing what they are buying, with a refractometer. I could tell most of the food generally being presented was low brix. The testing confirms it, and gives more confidence. enjoyed this. Thanks.

Yeah yanno as I think about it...that's exactly what it is. Cuz I always thought, "Man if I'm not supposed to be eating carbs....I'm screwed with this vegan diet" It's like a fork in the road that you come to where you can either go left or right. Common sense and a gut feeling had me leaning towards plant power.

Thank you,great interview.Fred is an amazing & knowledgeable man.i wasn't able to be on live.but I do have a few questions if Fred gets to see this.i would like to know if Fred consumes raw pressed olive oil. Next question.... what Fred suggests for young women that have low iron & what is the best way to get iron into their diet ,if they are on a high raw diet . And what foods & diet Fred suggests for women that have PCOS.

For what it's worth, I'm not a woman but I have thin membrane syndrome, a condition that causes my kidneys to constantly leak a little blood. I have had lifelong issues with (mostly mild) anemia. Today I have the highest (normal) blood iron levels of my life. What it took for me - despite going plant based (greatly reduced the amount of iron I eat) - was (1) avoiding all caffeine around mealtimes - because caffeinated beverages impede iron absorption and (2) having more citrus - because vitamin C improves iron absorption. It goes without saying, but also avoid ALL dairy.

Jah & Jahes love Gillian. Thank you for a great interview with Dr. Fred Bisci. I love the fact that he's an Italien New Yorker. He has so much personality! And, I learned so much from him in this interview. But, the best advise that he gave was to not eat late at night. I want to do like you and eat by 3 PM. The problem for me is that I can't juice and make smoothies because I live in a Stabilizing Center where I am not allowed to use my juicer and Vitamix. And, chewing food takes a long time, and the preparation is also arduous. Please pray for me to get a place to live soon so I can start to eat between the hours that I want to. This might be my favorite video on your channel so far! I love Dr. Bisci's attitude of being really non-judgemental, while also sticking with real facts. Awesome interview! I was wondering, what exact B-12 does he take? I've seen people promote Perque, but that contains Sucanat - which is cane juice (sugar). I was wondering what B-12 supplements are actually safe and effective. If you don't know, that's okay. I really just wanted to thank you for another great video. (I've been watching your videos daily lately. I am super-inspired!) Thanks!!!

Great interview. I totally agree about keeping fat in check in your diet, it’s been a games changer to heal my neurological issues, including brain fog and vertigo, and also severely psoriasis. Also following Anthony Williams the Medical Mediums protocols. Anthony William also talks about how diabetes type 2 can be healed by lowering fat in the diet. He says the glucose from healthy sources is critical for our bodies but the fat interrupts its absorption into the cells. The research for this was also done way back in the 50’s I believe, it just was never given to the masses. Cyrus Khambatta, PhD and his mate Robby talk about this at their diabetes summits. I eat a very high glucose diet from fruit, honey, maple syrup, and sweet veggies. I’ve been tested repeatedly for diabetes, I don’t have it. My Dad and brother do though, they eat fairly healthy by many standards but much more fat through animal products. To many many more healthy years for you Dr. Fred. Blessings 🌈🦋💛💚💜💙❤️

That's ass backwards. I completely reversed my type 2 diabetes and a ton of other health issues with a high fat, high protein, low carb diet. Granted, It was animal based and all grass-fed grass finished from the mountains of chile. But the notion that fat contributes to diabetes is bullshit and there are no real meaningful studies to back that claim. As matter of fact, fat in a healthy form like tallow for example has very little to no insulin response compared to protein and carbs.

@@RandomHuTaoSimp hi Jack, so awesome you healed your diabetes 🤗that’s great. Grass fed is awesome too. I don’t eat meat at the moment but when I feel well enough again I may have fish here and there, especially when we catch our own, or I might not. I’ve never really loved beef though and chicken tastes amazing but scares the crap out of me! As per diabetes long as you keep your sugars low it will appear as though your diabetes is in check because you don’t have much sugar in your blood stream because your not really eating much of it I but over the long haul a high fat diet makes it harder on all your organs, including your pancreas and liver. I don’t really explain it well but There are two doctors online Cyrus and Robby, who’ve I’ve learned a lot of this from. Cyrus Khambatta is what you can look up to find them. They do a diabetes summit each year talking about what I was saying above. I dont actually follow their protocols though, I follow Medical Medium, which is slightly different to their approach. Honestly the fact that your doing something to help yourself is awesome and if it feels right keep doing it, if you ever need extra help consider the Medical Medium, he has helped me so much. Adding celery juice into your morning and no fat till lunch is a game changer for many who are sick and wonderfully he takes no sides in the food world. He says You can heal eating meat and without it, it the tools and details around it that matters. Blessings sent your way 🤗
@RandomHuTaoSimp
@RandomHuTaoSimp Жыл бұрын
@@christineb2640 Yeah it's the bad fats and the ones that oxidize and become unstable that are bad for your organs. stable fats such as saturated fat's from tallow for example don't really oxidize which make them a really good cooking fat, hence the reason before 1909 why heart disease and a lot of illnesses are fat, granted you need grass-fed grass finished fats instead of the bad ones put out by mass companies today. Your body is made up primarily of fat. So the idea that eating the good fats can contribute to poor endocrine system health is false. There are plenty of studies to suggest it and no studies to confirm otherwise. Another reason stable fats like grass fed tallow is good is because is really low in linoleic acid (Omega-6) And considering most fats of todays world including vegetable and seed oils are unnaturally high in it. It's no wonder America is so sick and obese. But despite my animosity, I do want the best for everyone. No matter how much critique I get.
@christineb2640
@christineb2640 Жыл бұрын
@@RandomHuTaoSimp I can totally tell you only want the best for people. I personally no longer follow the science, I only suggest the diabetic studies done back in the 50-70’s because I think you like science. I believe sadly very little of what science is telling me as I realise now most of it is done by companies that want a specific outcome and they can afford to hire people to do the studies, though that is not always the case. I also think that our bodies are so complex and so little is known about most of its processes especially digestion and nutritent conversion through our livers, that most find8ngs are not full findings and that’s one reason the science keeps changing. I tried many different approach’s to healing when I first became sick, nothing worked for long and it seemed I was doing well than I wasn’t. After having my 2nd child however I became so debilitated it was a struggle to just look after my child. I was covered almost head to toe with psoriasis by this point, I had severe weakness in my limbs and awful vertigo. I had given up on trying anything else, I was fed up, I lived healthier than anyone around me and I was the sickest! By the grace of God the Medical Medium crossed my path, I was sceptical, than I tried his protocols, I had nothing to lose really, as my life seemed to be slipping away. I knew almost immediately this was what I needed. I have faith you will follow the path that is right for you at this time, your a very sincere person, I truly wish you the best too.
