In today’s episode, we are in conversation with Krishna - aka Krish. He has explained how he uses strangles and straddles strategies for intraday options trading
Straddle is a strategy where you trade a call and put of same strike price and expiry dates.
Strangles is a strategy in which you trade out of the money call and put of different strike prices but the same expiry dates.
There are 3 main types of strangles that one can trade:
1. Range-based strangles
2. Vix and Range based strangles
3. Premium-based strangles
He also explains strategies for straddles. He avoids trading straddles on Tuesday and strangles on Friday. If you're an options trader then you must watch the whole episode.

Hello. Can I suggest that you do the entire episode in 1 weekend itself? It is very irritating to listen half this week, then wait for next week. Anyway you have done the recording, why split and keep it for next week?

Too much confusion & difficulties faced while watching options learning videos 🤕🤕🤕😰😰😰🤯🤯🤯 bcoz different guests have different strategies & methods. One is telling not to trade on Tuesday bcoz it is mostly sideways, one is saying not to trade on Monday bcoz US markets are closed 🤕🤕🤕 Well different methods suites different traders 🤗🤗🤗 Anyway good learning contents 👍👌 Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏

Apurva, this is not achievable practically.. Kaash kaash trading itnaa easy hotaa to log expiry ke din savere order place kar key movie dekh rahey hotey.. Not sure if the above strategy is truly adopted.. People make crores of losses in 9:20 straddle.. Not sure how is strangle is a unidirectional strategy.. It is supposed to be non directional.. Inkaa thoda sa past pnl bhi check kar liyaa karo pls.. Also we should ensure that they show the backtest result of these strategies..
