Toni Morrison Reads from and Discusses "God Help the Child."
In an exclusive New York appearance, Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison reads from and discusses her new novel, God Help the Child, a searing tale about the way childhood trauma shapes and misshapes the life of the adult. She was introduced by Chirlane McCray, First Lady of New York City, and interviewed by Farah Jasmine Griffin.

Why wouldn't you expect Toni Morrison to be down to earth -- she's most urbane. In my experience, the urbane are typically down to earth; human but real, unpretentious, no airs.

For the last week I’ve wallowed in documentaries about great American writers such as John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatby), William Faulkner, Susan Sontag and a few others. This kind of feverish thirst comes upon me once or twice a year where I glorify the writer’s life and all that it entails. I am totally consumed and in a creative space that I relish. It wasn’t until this week that I began to look at the lives of Richard Wright, Ralph Ellison, James Baldwin and Amiri Baraka (Leroi Jones) and suddenly I hear Toni Morrison passes away. There was something mystical about experiencing her death while I was in this creative space. I’ve always adored her stories and the videos documenting her writings. I told myself that I would meet her one day. When I heard of her death I was stunned. I felt a tremendous loss. R.I.Love Toni Morrison

acajudi100 You know I think it’s this time of the year that I become so engrossed in other writers and their writings. Most of yesterday and today I’ve listened to Steven King’s talks, interviews and/or readings and have been totally consumed and engrossed. R.I.Paradise Toni Morrison.

You are respected. Thank you. I have sent solutions for everything, but D.C. does not care. They owe the Americans $12,000.00 so far to catch up on rent, and to get a new place, if evicted. They can train everyone to WORK online, after $2k monthly training, and then 2K income monthly, since the evil ones took away our incomes. The virus is a Fake to steal trillions of dollars, and to kill people by murder, starvation and being homeless. Do not send your children to school, but recorded lessons by subject, no longer than 15-30 minutes, and played at anytime. Homework should be limited and given up to 30 days to finish. Children and adults need to interact, and security should be hired to stop the drive by murders! Everyone needs to be armed and free training, or you will be targeted anywhere by age and gender by heartless and evil demons. My suggestions are deleted, but i beg everyone to demand what I have suggested , and add what you want. If you are not a part of the SOLUTION, then you are part of the PROBLEM! Life can be over in an instant, and your poverty, riches, or status will not save you. ALL LIVES MATTER!!!!!.
