testing the wiper circuit w/ intermediate wiper control module
using a 500 watt P/C power supply..
using a painless wiring fuse box kit and wiring it up to factory wiring..
A 500 watt P/C power supply will give about 36 amps from the two 12v D/C power outputs (yellow wires) and (black for ground)
must jump the green wire on the ATX plug to any black wire left or right of the green wire to power up... the power supply..
factory wiper circuit on a 94 mustang is about 18 Amps.. with the washer pump running
Thanks for watching.....
Note: using the P/C power supply I cut my chances of damaging any solid state unit on the system by maxing out the power supply.. on one power lead.. for the video card ( 17 amps) the internal circuit breaker.. Not shown was running the wiper on high along with washer pump relay (continuously) the power supply cut off after about 30 seconds. and re-set..... ( It was enough to check my wiring connection's)
Note: the power supply I am using is over 12 year's old.... It was replaced for that reason..
My wife Wonder's why I save so much junk...
Again.. thanks for watching....
