At first I thought you had to take the original gauges out, until I realized these are overlays. I own a set of 90s Ractive gauge overlays for a 92-95 Civic, I didn't realize under now it works like this. Thanks for the video!!

Good rule of thumb while doing these, Don’t clean the inside of your lens, but with only one exception. If you’re in a very dusty environment, and you can physically see major dust buildup on the inside. These clusters are extremely resilient to every day dust and such. If you take a closer look at the video. You can see the lens was ok, then he cleaned it and it looked smudged. Also with the wires, I would suggest using a RTV to seal the holes that are now exposing the clean cluster. Other than all that, good job my guy 😁

This was way easier then I anticipated! I remember looking up how to convert the 92 prelude to the digital Gauges from the 96 Prelude SI and man it looked like a nightmare. I can Def do this on my civic! Great video, you got straight to the info we needed. And lastly HUGE props on doing so much of this with one hand! Hahaha and you didn't take forever doing it

great video, installed today they look great, if anyone else is looking to do this it doesn't really matter if you put leds in all of the old bulbs, you really only need them behind the odometer and in the ones that shine down onto the cluster

Just curious but does the maintenance requirement light go out once you actually start the car or was yours already on?

What are the wires coming from the faces used for (I know they hook up to the controller) but is there a way I can still use the faces and they look normally light up like at 19:30 without the controller and with LED lights behind? Like can I cut off the wires to the faces and they still look normal or do I have to have to controller hooked up with it to turn it on and off?
