So many older singers find their voices getting "shaky", but Magda's control over her vibrato is amazing. And the emotion with which she sang should be a lesson to all young opera singers. There's more to it than the notes!

She also sings “Panis Angelicus” - that was the first video I saw of her singing at this performance. Absolutely unbelievable how she had retained such power and control!

What an amazing voice! Absolutely stunning! It's unbelievable to see that someone her age could retain that type of breath control when people that are way less than half her age can't climb a flight of stairs without stopping to catch their breath. She's proof that persistent dedication to your chosen craft really does preserve your talent for the rest of your life. Beautiful review of an inspirational singer with the most angelic voice... love it! ❤❤❤

A majestic inspiration. Oh how I wish I could have conversed with her for an hour. I am 71 and have questions I'd love to ask of someone who has experience through the aging process which goes beyond mere theory. She was a true wonder in this world!💖🙏

I prepared myself to be quietly disappointed, and instead I was completely blown away. She should have taught a class on how to keep your voice for a lifetime. Amazing!

Magda said in several interviews that her longevity was due to yoga and the vegetarian diet she followed. Furthermore, Magda was one of the few sopranos who had special vocal training, as she was trained directly by composers of the time such as Cilea and Poulenc.
