thanks a lot it is not pot. it is adjustable thermostat. its bimetallic plate bends and trips off the contacts. which only works as ON/OFF contacts

A lot more complicated than non-steam iron you showed before with many more screws to remember the positions of each. Good methodical work - well done.

You are a genious. I was introduced to your site from another smart utuber. I have a black and DeckerD3030 Chinese-made made that stops heating. It could be the thermal switch or the element. I am having a problem disassembling it. Can you help? I would appreciate it.

Very helpful....many thanks. What a crazy number of screws.....i am pretty sure i would have a couple left over ;-)

yes. there are still many screws remaining in the handle if screws are remaining on table then we need to assemble and reassemble it many times to find the empty places after that may be we will need to purchase a new one, because after 3-4 tries the screw holes will become free 😂😜
