@@ibbryant17 I finally got the door speakers in today. I had to cut the back off the factory insert. If I had gotten the rings they would have dropped right in but I went on the information from eBay. Thanks for uploading the video. 8)

Hey I'm sorry I didn't see this till now. You do have to buy the camera separately and the audio quality is the same with Bluetooth it doesn't diminish it at all

You have to buy the dash kit separately. That will come with the wiring adapter to fit your car and the bracket to make it fit inside of the radio opening

No the radio is wired it to the cars factory 12v system so it's powered the same way the stock radio is. No need to charge it

Hey sorry for the late response I'm just seeing this now. You'll have to look at the wiring behind your radio I no longer have my accord so I can't check myself

It will work on a 01. I recommend the metra dash kit and any adapter harness you find for a 01 accord.

I've had a radio stolen before. It's not really common anymore because radios are cheap. Someone tried stealing the one I installed in this video but couldn't get it

Know just what you mean and it sucks big time. There was a dealer/shop that specialized in Hondas and I had put down to buy one and a week later when I went to pick it up, someone broke into all the cars on the lot and stole the stereos, but the worse part they totally destroyed the dashboards/consoles to get them out 😢

100% worth it the factory unit is super lack luster. But this radio is louder way more clear and is super useful with the Android auto and apple car play

@@ibbryant17 thanks cuz rn I have a Bluetooth transmitter and my phone plays in the car but has a static noise since I need to put my radio at the least static and sometimes some songs don’t sound good on the speakers or static overload, I just want a straight aux connect

It makes the radio sound incredibly clear. I would upgrade your speakers still cuz the head unit I have will be way too much for those old speakers to handle

Since making this vid I've had to change the links multiple times because sellers change the item so the link no longer works or takes you to a listing for the wrong part. The stuff I used is all over eBay and it's easy to find tho

@@ibbryant17 ik a common problem with 2000 accords when replacing the radios is the lights go out in the dashboard the fuse keeps popping

It's a universal radio just buy the install kit for your specific model

If it's a 99 accord then yes the same one I got and I can't remember the screen size but it's a good useable display

It's not too hard once you buy all the adapters you need. And then just look up your radios wiring diagram. It's mostly just matching up colors to colors though. Aftermarket has created a standard that everyone uses

I made a mistake and did an oil change with the 10w 30 oil synthetic oil instead of regular because my dad told me it would last longer since I drive 5-6 hours a day doing Uber Eats. My check engine light is on and sometimes I got to charge up the alternator by pressuring the gas and holding the key in the ignition. Any suggestions?

@tiffanyacosta9716 the synthetic oil is fine I used it in my accord. Make sure your maintenance is up. Spark plugs being bad can cause a rough start and if your cap and rotor are worn on your distributor. Small things like that. Or even if your battery is old and worn. Before assuming the worst make sure simple stuff like that is okay first

@@ibbryant17 on Monday my car wouldn't turn on even with the booster so we called aaa to tow it to the mechanic and when the aaa guy unloaded the car we put the key in the engine turned on we were all surprised. The first mechanic said I need to buy the main relay which he was tryna charge me $100 we thought that was expensive, I went to a second mechanic he said it's the catalyst system efficiency below threshold and I asked him how much that would cost to replace he said thousands of dollars so I went to the original mechanic who sold me the car he just reset something and my check engine went off and gave me cataclean liquid to put with the gas change. I use regular gas. The battery and engine is brand new according to my mechanic he changed it July 7th. Is it safe for me to drive tomorrow for 30 miles?

No the links change over time. I used to have everything linked but the links don't work anymore so I got rid of them

You have to wire it yourself but it's very easy. Get an adapter harness for an accord in your cars year. The head unit will come with it's own plug. Then all you gotta do is match the colors and it'll work
