it is about time for you to get some new front tires boss. great video though, i changed it just through the drain plug twice and drove it around between changing it to get as much old fluid as i could out, then i changed the filter, pan gasket and re torqued all the bolts.

Three questions : 1.) Do you need to use gasket sealer on the pan gasket to prevent it from leaking ?. 2.) How long after putting the pan back on do you recheck the bolt torque. 3.) What kind of cleaner are you using to spray down the transmission body. ( Brake cleaner or special cleaner ?? ). Thank you for the great video 👍👍👍👍

The rubber gasket alone should be enough. Iirc, the bolt torque should be just snug. But do it in a crisscross pattern ti get even pressure. Brake Clean was what I used

How many Solenoid have the corolla 98? I was looking for this video for the filter change, but I also ask if you know how many solenoids you have because I'm confused, if you have 2 or 3. It will be greatly appreciated if you help me and excellent demonstration, of so many videos on YT, the only 100% specific I congratulate you.

there is a recommended amout of fluid that you are going to put in according to the book.. but when you drop the pan that's a different story so you have to pour fluid atleast between cold or warm if u want to put more its ok no big deal.. im just being safe in here ..run your car for atleast 5mins or operating temperature level etc..check ur dipstick it should be on warm level if its not then add fluid..
