An amazing film - thanks for editing and sharing this compilation. Rather than the nuts and bolts close up of many films, you have kept a distance and under different lighting and weather conditions have really shown the power and "life" of the steam locomotive in the context of its natural surroundings. Fantastic! and a BIG thank you!

What an amazing experience - as an Aussie with many fond childhood memories of steam trains I was just blown away by the content & quality of this film. I've been trawling KZfaq steam train videos for years, and this is the best I've seen. Well done, & keep them coming!

The pans from high vantage points looking down are very good, given the relative difficulty of panning anything other than pretty much level. You have taken the trouble to seek out very fine viewpoints and have braved pretty much all weathers to accrue some special footage. Many thanks.

Don't thank us for watching - it was our pleasure!! Honestly, I was rapt and lost there for the show. Thankyou so much for all your work and for enduring the weather... I shall add this to my favorites, just to evoke times gone by. Having been brought up with GWR and rolling Devon coombes I was quite astounded by the bleakness and the stark beauty of the countryside. But most of all by the magnificent machines (I hadn't realised just how fast they could go). I could even smell the steam! Thanks.

Just found this after posting my very basic video of The Princess. Brilliant video I sometimes think winter is the best time for this as low sun, when it's out, and less people plus more atmospheric smoke and occasional snow. Thank You
