20W50 not recommended This is because 20W-50 is a thicker oil, and the added resistance can cause further engine wear and damage to both newer and older vehicles. Besides, switching up to 20W-50 oil in older vehicles won't result in any noticeable changes in your gas mileage or fuel consumption. It will likely do more harm than good. _Your good choice for ZEN is 10W 40 or 10W 50_ for all of Africa & Asia including India accept a very cold area as Russia and some of Europe

Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate it. Have been using 20W50 based on the owner’s manual and it caters to operating temperatures between - 10 to 50’C. While the 10W40 or 10W50 (and other engine oils) may also work for the tropical climates we experience in India, I would prefer using what the owner’s manual recommends. But point taken. Thank you.

Hi, yes 20W50 works well over a wide range of temperatures - -10 to 40’C. Go ahead. 👍🏻

I have zen 2004 i put 3.5 liter oil but when i chek the level it in the mid it not at the max

If you’ve drained the existing oil, changed the oil filter and have added 3.5 litres oil, you’re good to go. The level has to be in the middle not at the max.
