Yeah man, have heard about Mayapuri market in Delhi. Probably the biggest in the country I reckon. At Chennai, it is in Pudupet.

@@GaneshBalan Just out of curiosity, what made you choose the laborious & time consuming electrolysis method for rust removal when acid dip is most usually used for the process? The result has been darn surprisingly good, much exceeding expectations I had through the course of the video.

@desiborat Believe it or not, when we got the fuel tank from the salvage shop and gave it to a local service centre for the replacement, he did an acid wash using caustic soda. But it didn’t help much as I realised during the ownership. That’s when I decided to take the matter into my own hands and do something about it. I was facing 2 problems with the car after the fuel tank was swapped: 1. Petrol coming out of the charcoal canister - this was because of a choked metal pipe in the tank. Inserted a thin bent rod into the pipe to clear the block and this was sorted. 2. Fuel coming at the carburettor was orangish hinting at rust. And the fuel filter was almost always orangish in color. Read up on the internet this is also one of the methods to remove rust and decided to try it out. Pleasantly happy with the results.

Hi, I respond sincerely to any queries (except spam). 🙂 I stay at Chennai but I visit Palanpur once a month. The scrap yard is located at Kanodar. There are multiple scrap yards here in succession.

@@GaneshBalan the excitement got the better of me & my english typing abilities, anyways. Thank you for responding, was binge watching your videos.... We also have a Zen and the Zen has a bad fuel pump. The Zen is in Kutch Gujarat, so these scrap yards could be of help. Do you have a contact number of the place?

Unfortunately no dude. Can you check Google Maps? It is at Kanodar and located bang next to the Ahmedabad - Mt. Abu highway. I’m sure you will see some places earmarked as scrapyards.
