Another wonderful, insightful video from my favorite KZfaq car channel. However, for all the same reasons of design that you spoke about, I still think the most iconic shape for the modern Porsche is the base model 911 Carrera. Of course, that’s what I drive so I’m a bit biased! Keep up the great job!

Hi 18echosf, Yes, the coupé is the core design lines that the Cabriolet is struggling to reach. But I was taking by a surprise how the cabriolet added a new dimension to my more active driving and remember if you like something you are much more forgiving not wearing you critical eyes to the full extent.

You had me up until I checked out your Sport Spec and noted you had added Power Steering Plus (PSP). I have had cars with and without and the difference is night and day. PSP kills all feeling at low speeds and makes the car easier to park, it is not something you would add to a drivers car.

I go apesh*t over Porsches and I love to see you get so passionate and scientific about them; but sadly they are so impractical where I live. Better off in a Hyundai.

Couldn't agree more. I had a Carrera S Cabrio with rear steering. (2017) I now have a GTS coupe 2018 without rear steering. The rear steering makes such a better handling experience. Most writter's , vlogers and my salesman sid I wouldnt notice the diference. Boy were they wrong.
