In this video we motor our new catamaran up the ICW from Elizabeth City to The Great Dismal Swamp. The temperatures are in the 90's and we are having a blast. We go through 2 locks and a few bridges.

I can't believe how much that deck flexes when she walks on it at the end. The only thing keeping this thing afloat is the spiders holding hands and you killed a bunch of them!.

An old table umbrella for a Bimini, double take, but it works, LOL...And a tent to keep out the Spiders, now your talking, I hate them spiders too, LOL...What a fun trip up the river and through some locks, don't get to see many locks in the US any more, cool. On to the next one, gotta see what happens, LOL.

I have to admit I didn't think you would make it this far you're wife is showing some real character I surprise she didn't say drop me off at the bus station . The bugs would have driven most crazy !

Congratulations ! I have to give you guys props. I started watching probably more so like watching a car crash but I am encouraged by your perseverance , your positivity and your willingness to pursue your dreams despite the obvious challenges. Keep chasing those dreams and I’ll keep watching.

You'd better be praying that you don't run into any DNR or Coast Guard vessels on your trip. They would board you for a safety inspection and that would be the end of the adventure, for sure. Good Luck!

Nice to see a KZfaq channel not trying to over do it. Just regular honest people ..not trying to Fake a video. real is what people want.. Not some BS intro and people that don''t want to work and think they are special for some reason. Give them credit for having had the good common sense to take the protected inland passage rather than attempting any open water, but also demerits for no vhf radio, no fenders, no flares or any other required safety gear. Ignorance is bliss.
