The annoying thing is that this is one of the few things that made season 9 of Dynasty ok to watch - it's such a pity that they couldn't get Stephanie across with John James and Emma Sands at the start of season 8 after the Colbys was cancelled.

Sable Colby revitalized this show in its final season. You could tell both Stephanie Beacham and Joan Collins sank their teeth into the brilliant shade the writers scripted for their characters. It’s a shame the show was moved out of its regular time slot to Thursday night in its ninth season where the ratings tanked. I think we would have seen a few more years of these dueling divas if the show had remained on Wednesday night.

They were facing each other, but suddenly at 1:25 Alexis is facing away from Sable. I suspect that might be a continuity goof.

She also appeared as an Actress on The UK's Longst Running Soap Opera Coronation Street. Joan Collins on the other hand was on Bad Girls Sister Show Footballers Wives. Michael Praed (Michael) and Maxwell Caulfield (Miles Colby) were on the UK Soap Opera Emmerdale.
