The F-35 will probably rely on guided missles more then on its 25mm. There is no reason for it to replace the A-10 but it still has some purpose

@@kennethmckenzie6882 but that's the problem. The f-35 is made to be a direct replacement for the a-10, as well as the f-22 and harrier. The only thing it has going for it is that it's better at vtol than the harrier, but at both air to air and air to ground it lacks way behind the f-22 and a-10. It truely is one of the biggest wastes of money the government had ever spent. Luckily the Marines wanted the old a-10s so they're not completely out of service and won't be for a bit now

That and so much money has been spent on the f-22 that those likely won't be retired before 6th gen fighters exist. We just should have built more of those and upgraded the a-10 fleet rather than build a very expensive and useless aircraft

The 35 has a 25mm Vulcan- it’s been proven many times before, I have faith it will serve us well- and it’s actually very accurate

I love the realistic detail that when you’re near the place where the bullets hit but far away from the a10, you hear the bullets impacting first, and then them being fired.

I know this is old, I noticed the rounds fired sound real. Bullets up to a distance travel faster than sound, as you observed. That's a detail that hooked me into playing Squad, Arma3, Hell let loose and Insurgency.

@@TheSense13 Arma 3 did plenty well, DCS is quite popular and same for Escape from Tarkov. They don’t do as well as call of duty or battlefield or such, but they are still popular.

Love your content Drewski. I was gonna request a cool idea for a video that you could maybe do or think about. I think a Sniper support mission would be pretty cool. Where you and a spotter provide overwatch for a fireteam on a mission.
