Two thoughts: 1. Stud at the Peppermill? That's a new one for me considering how hard it is to get a Stud game started in the first place unless you're at Foxwoods in CT. Stud--be it regular Stud or Stud 8--is not easy to find elsewhere nowadays. 2. Ugh, those kinds of sessions where you just can't get anything going. I don't blame you for pulling out when you did. Hope you catch some run-good next session.

Ben, with u getting 2nd best this session, I am thinking that u had what I call, "DECK LAG!" U need 2 watch how each deck reacts from what deal from the next, the best way 2 try 2 get rid of it is, do not play the 4 next hands, 2 for each deck, if u miss the blinds, so what, just pay 4 it and hope that works, also u might want 2 try the min raise, it might save u some money, u r still falling 4 the check on the river, best thing 2 do is, if u do not have the nuts, "CHECK THE RIVER!"

Sometimes when you are having a loosing day you just have to go for the big gamble at some point and hope to get lucky. If you would have gambled with those pocket sixes you would of not lost for the day. I folded pocket jacks once pre when two people jammed only to see them both have AK and end up hitting nothing. I ended up having a loosing day that session because I didn't take my one shot at a big gamble.

Sometimes we need to view a session from the rail. After that 66 hand you had where you had to fold and would have hit the 6 if you could have stayed, was the poker Gods telling you that in order to win on this day you would have to make extremely bad decisions just to get there, and you know deep down you cannot play that way. That was when you need to look back and realize this is not your day and trying to buck the system was not going to work. Good luck next session!

How are you not 3-betting AQ suited? You probably would've actually saved money in the hand by 3-betting preflop. You would've found out where you were in the hand; as your opponent probably would've 4-bet. Even if they flat-call, you have control of the pot and position.

Halloween is way overrated now. It's full of the dumbest lead character decisions. Jason was in the first movie for the greatest jump scare of all time. Friday the 13 kept getting better with their sequels. Halloween sequels sucked. Neither of those has anything on the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
