Current comp sci student, steal a highschool computer if they provide em by factory resetting them and if they have it on record they’ll email you about it and let you know but if they allow you to graduate you’ll be good, but more ethical tips would be that you can build a solid 300$ pc that’ll get ur thru ur first two years , there’s not really any need for any graphics cards, a good thinkpad would hold you over tbh

I'm newer than brand new on building gaming pcs but I've been learning a lot the past few months. Thanks to hours of KZfaq videos and just as long on Google searching, I have the most basic base parts list I could think of...only I'm not happy with it. Of course I just planned to use it as a baseline until I came up with a more tailored list but, when channels like ZTT and ToastyBros/PCBros exist and offer part list services, I'm tempted to use them... I still have a TON of questions but I'm not sure where to ask them. Not to mention that there's so many brands, versions, and everyone has their own experiences which make it harder. I have a general budget (with some breathing room if I need it), I know what I want to do with it, and I've know what types of parts I need for a build. Is it worth it to just keep researching on my own or should I utilize part list services like what ZTT and ToastyBros/PCBros have?

i was able to get an under 500 dollar pc all white with a i3 12100f and rx 580 which of course is worse then a 2060 super but for an all new parts pc is pretty good and i got everything off amazon

How do you get argb on your pcs. Most budget motherboards dont come with a 3 pin 5v header. Also, there are usualy not enough fan headers so do u use fan hubs. If so, it should proboly be a part of the total build cost or u could at least mention it.

Just want to add for the budget is the wifi/ Bluetooth, and windows 10. I personally won't flip a pc without a wifi card. I'm still new to pc builds and flipping, but in my area we depend heavily on wifi and can't really plug in a ethernet cord to our pcs.

I like building PCs under half that with AMD A88 motherboard AMD A8 6000 series Richland APU GeForce GTX 760 16 GiB DDR3 and 512 GiB SATA SSD. The Richland APU supports windows vista and xp unlike steamroller . My Xapple Xacintosh SE2 uses these components and they’re dirt cheap

Not sure about value because I used eBay for a lot of used parts but I currently have a sub £500 pc that runs apex at 4k max graphics about 80fps and beaming 4k max graphics at 50, these are my specs Rtx 2060 super mini for £180 I7 12700k for £90 16gb ddr4 (don’t know what brand) for like £80 Z390 ud for £30 - £50 (can’t remember) I got a case and psu bundle for less than £60 256 gb Samsung ssd and 1tb hdd for £40ish I have terrible cooling though so I have to upgrade that and gonna get a new 1tb ssd

yo zach i always see you spray paint your amd cooler, and as someone who also wants to do it for aesthetics to match my build, what's your procedure? do you use primer before the color or any tricks? appreciate it

You should use primer, and if not, I recommend lightly sanding the pieces so the spray paint sticks better.
