I mean her whole identity is being polarizing so yeah she will be by far the worst char without install, worse than eddieless zato and no concentration hc etc. she legit can’t move around. we tested this. but i’m not predicting how good a char will or won’t be on day -4. this reward for getting into install is certainly something though…

@@me_lolo to be fair, as well, I have to assume she has some decent pokes, as well as her command dash. she's not IMPOSSIBLE to move with, but she's certainly gonna be stuck in the corner a lot. (which as someone who struggles in the corner, worries me haha.)

Yeah, but against characters who doesn't zone goldlewis he actually WAS crazy, outside of that he had glaring weaknesses too though like slow normals and bad p buttons. ABA doesn't seem to have that issue (She has a 4 frame 2p ffs)

Idk if you have played +R ABA, but that is her entire gimmick, her entire appeal. She is complete dog water in her base form and NEEDS her install to do literally anything, but in install she is a complete monster. "Moroha Mode" literally means "Double-Edge Mode." The thing that will make-or-break Strive ABA, IMO, is how easy it will be to get into Moroha and how long it lasts. The gauge seems to run out pretty fast, but it also seems kinda easy to get gauge. Will be interesting if there are strats that allow for near-constant Moroha state; if there aren't ANY strats like that, then she will be a bottom tier character for sure. I'm predicting mid-tier like she is in +R, she will either completely annihilate you or get completely blown up herself, and it balances out roughly to a mid-tier.

actually no. You dont loose jealousy meter while comboing. If you look at his meter, he lost almost none. The bigger problem is getting the tension for overdrive

@@longbeing this tier list stuff is really only relevant for the top 5-1% of players, and even then, you can see low tier characters perform well (like PepperySplash with Johnny) because nobody knows the matchup intimately. Elphelt is a really one-dimensional though, nice to see ABA looking a bit more complex just due to her gauge and gameplan.

If he wanted to, he definitively could improve each character’s frame data lol

Strive is notorious for GG with highest damage. ABA is just doing her 'typical' damage since the day of GG Accent Core.

Aba is known as a high risk high damage character too

Fast pace fighter, not only damage but meter gain and resources are pretty easy to come by.
