Hey friends!
So, I decided to give myself a little challenge, to try and build something using only Base Game and the new pack we all got for free, The Sims 4 Desert Luxe! Can I achieve something? Let's find out!

I’m glad you’re making a limited ‘packs’ build. The majority of builds I see use way to many packs.

Aiden, thank you for giving this style a name, because after the desert luxe stuff came out, I wanted to build a house just like those you would find in desert areas, SO BADLY. But for the life of me, couldn't find the necessary name for that style to LOOK IT UP. So thank you again, for saying the style, my journey of searching has come to an end.

can anyone gave me a list of styles names in english? Like "rancher style" or "colonial style". It would be so much easier to find inspo pics because in my language there is so limited selection...

Ι can only afford the Base Game at the moment and I feel so happy that we have this pack now! The items are very pretty and I know for sure that I'm gonna use them a lot in my builds!

9:15 I love the colors and textures on this house! making the corridor grey was a big brain move that I would not have come up with. never fails to impress me that you have such a good eye for this stuff! 10:34 hopefully… one day… sims 5 when? 15:18 oh that awning is a cool item! this build has been really effective in reminding me to go download the pack already 😅 22:06 NEW CURTAINS?! this has my day

I absolutely love your creativity and the way your style your houses. Your wit and charm is so refreshing, as well. I have a chronic illness and whenever I'm having a bad day due to a flare up, I load up a few of your videos and find myself just floating along, wonderfully distracted and smiling. The way you break things down and explain your thought process makes building much less intimidating and gives me the confidence to try my own hand at it. The desert luxe kit reminds me of Journey to Batuu. Particularly with the wallpaper.

Absolutely LOVE the shape of this beautiful courtyard house, love the window idea, and respect how tasteful you managed to furnish this with just base game and the new kit, and without really creating custom furniture. The front yard really came together so well and flows so nicely! Sometimes a challenge like this helps you appreciate a few of the truly beautiful base game items, like the terracotta flooring you used throughout. ❤

For the awkward wall gaps, you can draw a wall elsewhere and then move it in to place without the game having a fit about block clusters or some other BS reason!

Quick tip the details on spandrels dont appear if you draw the spandex after placing placing the columns.
