A-Basin chose to replace a quad chairlift with a new six passenger chairlift. The Lenawee Express Chairlift is new in 2022. The first passenger loaded in mid-December. The Lenawee Express Chairlift will be instrumental in moving large numbers of skiers from mid-mountain to the summit. This reduces lift line waits and crowding on the mountain.

The minimum recommended skill level for skiers using the Lenawee Express Chairlift is Intermediate. There are no beginner runs that can be accessed via the Lenawee Express.
Lenawee Express loading terminal is located mid-mountain. Ski downhill from Black Mountain Lodge using the Wrangler ski run.
Lenawee Express is easily accessed via Black Mountain Express, Pallavicini, Beavers and Zuma Chairlifts.
Lenawee Express provides access to all upper mountain runs located between the East and West walls. These runs are rated Intermediate, Advanced, Expert and “Beyond Rating”.
