After a terrible accident, Alice was left with a disfigured face. While she expected support from the people she loved, her husband refused to even look at her. Her mom no longer considered her a daughter. And Alice was left alone with nowhere to go. She decided to turn to the doctor to bring her beautiful looks back. Yet, found out that her bank account was blocked.
He couldn’t “fix” her problem. But he offered her something else.

Nah. I doubt she even if she knew, she can't reach her. After all, she's an older bitter woman who thinks the world ends at the tip of her nose. She's neither rich nor powerful. And she gave up on the one person who loved her.

To be honest,its pretty clear that the mother knows she was Alice. Im pretty sure she's one of those moms trying to live their dreams of their child. Its obvious that the mother only saw Alice as her dream fulfiller and nothing else

It's a shame that how her husband and mom treated her after her accident. I would never do my daughter like that! It's great that the doctor took her in and loved her for who she is unlike her ex.

I know that Alice's ex-husband is a heartless monster but I never really though Alice's mother would turn her back on her own daughter like that all because Alice's face was disfigured which is not what a real mother should do to their own child. I wished that AniMatters have Alice's mother at the end of the story because I would imagation after she found out that her daughter's beauty is restore that she wants be part of her life once again but Alice will refuse as she angrily tell her mother that doesn't deserved to be calling herself a mother since she turn her back her in the first place and never support her through the hard time at all.

I am glad that Alice married the doctor. He was the only one who supported her when she needed it. The doctor helped Alice realize that beauty is what's inside. To bad that Alice's ex-husband and mother were really focused on their looks.

Me too, because after that conversation Alice overheard I was starting to think he was just another shallow person like the other people in this video, and after the old woman's accusations I thought he was trying to frame her for a crime. I'm so glad I was wrong

There goes my final follow-up. Alice's mother, Katie, who kicked her out of her life, returns again to forgive her daughter, but she refuses. Alice: Mom? What are you doing here?! Don't you have much to talk about after you kicked me out of your house? Katie: No.The press humiliated me enough, when they found out about your accident, and by treating you like that, people yelled at me, mistreated me and i couldn't be in any interviews, due to my bad behavior... Alice: I don't know who you are to control me like that. After my dad died, you kept disciplining me to be the perfect person you wanted. Katie: And I regret it. Can you forgive me? Alice: I can't forgive you anymore. You're not family, Joey is my family now, and you won't come between us. Get out of here. Before Katie leaves Alice's house, she gives her an old sleeping bag. Katie (Furious): Are you hurting your mother like that?! Alice: I don't have a mother, you deserve to be alone. GET LOST. Alice slams the door in Katie's face. She looked very angry when she saw her together with her husband, Joey, and her daughter, Lily. She leaves sad, with her own guilt, without showing any remorse as she deserves.
