He always made up my concoctions to toughen my hands for Kung Fu and we’d talk about Chinese Medicine and drink your herbal drinks from a big urn. Fascinating shop in those days. I’ve drank one of those kinds of medicine. Trust me, whatever you do, either hold your breath or whatever, the first second the medicine touches your tongue, it makes you want to vomit. If you like medicine, then I’m sure you’ll like it. (But the medicine is very effective for illnesses!)

Instead of Strepsils or Difflam, my mother and I sometimes use lozenges made from loquat. My interest got piqued after watching too many Chinese historical dramas.

This is educational for me as first TCM user, I have frozen shoulder and neck pain for 5 years now and recently was introduced to TCM especially acupuncture and it helped me a lot and looking forward to taking the powder form of the treatment. The taste of the powder medicine is really awful but I’m positive and hopeful that in 7 days time it will cure my illness…
