The Jabulani HERD 🐘 is so lucky to be in a safe place at night. You all love and care for all of them. You can see by this video all of the hard work you have to do on a daily basis to clean the stables and the surrounding areas while the HERD 🐘 are out in the bush. I can never get enough of this very special HERD. It's my first stop every morning, even before coffee. I always wish we had a new video every morning. So sometimes I rewatch the old ones. A couple of days ago I was looking at some of Fenya.😢 It made me appreciate the successful rescues and introductions of Khanyisa and Phabeni even more. You really get an idea of their size when you see the elephant checking out the tractor. His head is so big in comparison to the tractor and the person on the tractor!! And those beautiful eyes!!

These Ellie's may have had a rough start to life but they are truly spoiled here at HERD! Awesome job taking care of these wonderful animals!

Loved this, but I can see it is a huge job maintaining everything. I'm sure those that do it are devoted and love their work. Well, maybe not shoveling dung 😄 The elephants are well-looked after and the family of men and women that do this are very special. Such a wonderful operation you have...everything with a purpose.

Loved this tour! So cute to see Jabu, Lundi, and Mambo all sleeping on their bed. Can certainly see why the solar would be so beneficial...if nothing else, the fencing and pumps for the water! Impeccably clean considering 10 girls and 6 big big boys sharing their space! Adorable how they get a "treat" can see they recently had oranges 😁 Very well thought out and planned! You can see how well the sanctuary is kept... I have a few sheep and i am embarrassed how poorly I keep their paddock now.

These elephants live a luxurious lifestyle lol, they have butlers, maids, chefs and doctors on standby. Seeing the elephant's interactions with the machinery was great!

Is there a way you could package and sell yours to local farmers? That's about as "organic" a fertilizer as you can get!...OK, as usual I make comments on your videos "on the fly", as I'm watching them...so now I read "JabuLadies elephant dung paper and soap"...wow, most excellent video...thank you! I carry much LOVE for each and every one of the elephants there at HERD...have followed their lives ever since you rescued little Khanyisa; I fretted and shed many tears when Fish broke his leg...and all the many other joys and heartaches over the years. I just want you to know that beside all those folks who are wealthy enough to personally come visit/stay for a while, there are many more of us who love your work, love the elephants just as much, but who either are financially unable to afford such costs a visit to your remarkable sanctuary cost, or are too old to safely make such a trip. like me. All I can send you is my deep admiration, respect, and Love for what you, and all the carers and staff do for these intelligent, caring, family-oriented creatures! They want the baby with them at all times. Explaining the milk schedule to them however would be challenging as they dont speak human. Im guessing they know they will have him eventually as they saw this with khanyisa. They understand that you have to do what you feel you have to do. An elephant is faithful 100%.

Appreciate the behind the scenes of the homestead. So much thought and work has been put forth to care for the elephants. The composting isn’t always an easy task. I’m impressed with how you use in to fertilize the banana grass and make products. Well done.
