I've never tried the smart wool socks. I wear the exact same Darn tough socks and their cushon boot socks. I love them. I can't go back to cheap socks.

I have had to send two pair of Smartwool socks back because of holes. They replaced them, no problem, but it is a bit of a hassle.

I’ve been looking at Darn Tough socks for awhile. I had a bunch of Anonymousism socks that developed toe holes pretty fast so I’ve wanted something that will last. I do also have a pair of Smart Wool socks that I like as well

Have the exact hikers and color Fantastic socks Many seek cheap alternatives to something that is underfoot for 12-14 hours ... Many should reconsider better opinions including detail presented here And the cost in pennies as compared to hours, days, weeks, months, years of use/ wear

Earl Gray Solid, but I like the Smartwool and DarnTough a good bit more.

@@sbreslin41 Also, there are the warranties to consider. Darn Tough has a lifetime guarantee, while Smartwool provides up to 2-year replacements (both no questions asked). Wigwam's advantage is that they are generally the cheapest socks of the three, but offer only a "lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defects," which is to say they provide no warranty but want you to think they do.

I wear the Jarvis boot sock from Darn Tough, great sock! I've got a request for you to review. Have you seen Weather wool? I think they are pretty close to you and have open house about once a month or so, I'd love to get your take on their stuff. Here is a link to their site weatherwool.com

Buldgr Yes, I’m familiar with them. I think they used to sell Woolpower underwear from Europe, which I like a lot. They have definitely improved their site and gone upmarket. I’ll let you know if I can get over to South Orange. I used to play soccer there as a boy! Thanks for the shout and the link!
